I have an offer for a nearly perfect meta handbuff paladin, including five non-core legendary minions, for 100 rune stones or $ .99 USD.
If you can’t take that deck to legend for a $1 it’s 100% a skill issue.
I already have every card in the offer, but I’d be sorely tempted if I didn’t. It’s almost worth it to me to buy it specfically to dust it… but I’m sitting on about 20k dust atm.
Insane value for someone trying to get going and build up sustainable F2P with a really good list for such a small investment.
It seems like the offer is bugged or something. I got a notification for it when I entered battlegrounds, but then the game froze completely, and the offer is nowhere to be found in the shop now
RidiculousHat replied on Reddit “anyone eligible for this offer already has it in their shop”, so I’m guessing that some of us weren’t supposed to get the notification in the first place, which is why it bugged the game out when I clicked on it
The picture for the popup I got was of Brann, and it looks like that deck included 6 legendaries, all of which I already have. I don’t have a full collection, but some in the Reddit thread say they have full collections and still got the offer. As I said, I do have the tavern pass.
Ya, the reddit post you shared was hunter, but I got offered paladin. I already own all the cards from the offer… and I recently played almost that identical deck.
Looks like they are doing AB testing to see the price point people will buy things at.
What they don’t realize is if they offer everyone this deal the average cost of dust drops significantly and all their testing is moot.
Btw that makes total sense Microsoft loves ab testing and it would track that they start implementing it now under the guidance of their new overlords.
I love how this thread started out with “thanks to this offer you can’t call it pay to win” only to soon find out that the offer isn’t equally distributed amongst players, giving individuals a big p2w advantage over others.
The cheap offers are seen only by people who don’t have a big collection of cards from the current expansion.
So its actually for those that usually don’t spend.
It might consider dust then too.
I have a group of friends, we all play the game actively, me and another one spent some cash, we have a bit of cards, another friend of mine is completely f2p and poor as dirt in game.
All i know is that he gets a lot of offers of this type while we don’t.
This is 100% false as I have every common and rare, missing five epic (mostly second copies of cards) and 12 legendary cards, which is pretty extensive. I have all the cards in the deck I was offered, including the five legendary cards.
I have more than 20k dust atm, so don’t think that’s happening either.
