Spare a thought for the 80% who are poorer than you
They donât even pay you enough to get the Caniac Combo? This is why you guys need to unionize
Some of them work for Blizzard and post here on their personal accounts and will deny it till their end.
(Seriously, you, yeah you⌠random person reading this⌠YES YOU⌠I want to ask you a question⌠If you worked for Blizzard would you play Hearthstone in your spare time? If you answered yes, why would it be so hard to imagine you would post here, even as a fan of the game? To think that no Blizzard employees are posting on these forums is just a ridiculous notion)
Youâre probably Right that some employees post here. Maybe youâre one yourself!
I am not. But then, IDK if they would be allowed to admit it officially.
Exactly. Now with a well publicised toxic culture and hostile leadership, if you were an employee why wouldnât you come and start trouble on the boards after a long day of being victimised.
IDK if I would say they start trouble for the sake of it. Most trolls Ive encountered seem like simple trolls and donât fit the profile IMHO.
The people who fit the profile (of a Blizz employee) are the passionate defenders who will at all costs defend the inner workings of this game as if it their baby or they have âsome vested interestâ in its success.
Nice deflection! Wink wink
Yes, with my 800 posts on an ALT because my main is suspended⌠yes, yes⌠YOU GOT ME.
(pro tip, do not take a job as a detective)
Blizzard donât have any detective rolesâŚ
Thanks for the laugh!
Do you really believe this? If I was a Blizzard employee and posted here, I donât think Iâd be defending it. I donât think Iâd be defending this game, especially if I knew it were rigged. And if I knew that, I wouldnât be playing either.
I could get behind the idea that Blizzard employs people to defend their product. Would make more sense to me to do it over dozens/hundreds of accounts rather than focus on a handful with several thousand posts. I always find it crazy how little game discussion is actually on these forums. Could the Blizzard employees fix that please?
This makes no sense to me though. Random accountant/security guard for Blizzard coming to the forums to defend Hearthstone. And even if they do, their opinions on the inner workings of the game is as valid (and irrelevant) as everyone else.
These threads pop up from people who are upset after losing. OP found a deck nobody else uses, which means it is almost certainly a bad deck (No offense meant OP, it could be great and not known about by the community yet, but more likely to be bad and therefor not played). He then makes a thread complaining about the RNG after losing his second game. The second game!
Has OP completely optimized the deck list and learned the inner workings of the deck in order to play flawlessly after a single game? Obviously not. But the loss of his second game, with a bad deck (again, just assuming), prompted a thread about rigged game play.
This is why I canât take most of these threads seriously. The game may very well be rigged. Blizzard isnât a good company. Morals aside, the card design can be horrible, the game is overflowing with bugs and the cost ofâŚeverything is absurdly high. None of this changes how ridiculous 99% of these rigged claims are. Take responsibility for your losses and learn to play better.
I think some people are only active participants in the community and may have been playing for a minute.
I never said they would post with any knowledge of rigging, IDK where you got that.
Iâm saying general commentary, usually passionately defending the game.
Thatâs a grossly inaccurate statement.
How can you think someone with obviously more information on a subject than you have would have less valid arguments?
Itâs like me, who drives a Ford, and having 0 mechanical inclination to repair my vehicle, arguing with the Ford mechanic on the inner workings of my engine.
I was speculating. In general commentary I donât that think these people would be blindly defending Blizzard. Honestly, the only time I see what is perceived as defending the company is when players here disagree that the game is rigged in some way. But, this isnât an attempt to defend Blizzard â this is an attempt to use logic and reason to reach the most plausible conclusion. Most often calling people white knights for Blizzard is merely a red herring and insult, irrelevant to the actual discussion.
And everything you wrote is 100% valid imho.
But to the question. If you worked for Blizzard, would you play Hearthstone? And if yes, why wouldnât you post here as a fan? Regardless of your views.
Well, part of why I wouldnât expect them to post here is because the vast majority of the playerbase doesnât post here.
Ok (shakes head in bewildermentâŚ)
Since you wont bite, I willâŚ
If I worked for Blizzard I would play all their games and post on the forums, like a normal customer.
Why you think this is such a unicorn move is beyond me.
