These games are never even close.
Is there a counter?
When I play Hand Buff and lose, it’s usually because the other player nailed their Questline early and did devastating damage to my face before I had the chance to get my buffs going
I’m primarily playing Handbuff Paladin. Tell me what class you are playing and I’ll tell you how good players in that class beat me .
Don’t let them get on board. Paladin has almost no fast cards, so once they lose the board, it’s very hard to come back.
It’s entirely dependent on what you’re playing. Post a deck.
Yeah, if you’re playing Quest mage, one of the worst things you can do is leave a minion on board and use your huge damage spells (fireball) on minions. Use your frost spells on minions, damage to face, and don’t leave a minion on board. Why? Because the Paladin can’t heal if there’s no enemy minion target and they can’t buff hand minions with their rush minions, nor can they discount spells.
Focus face, freeze minions, don’t lave minions up. Should be a fairly easy win that way.
Looks like a one post wonder. Doubt there be any reply back.
Quest Rogue is its only “counter” right now. Technically, according to HRS, face hunter and quest mage are slightly favored (52-48) and otherwise handbuff pally is favored. It’s new-ish, compared to say quest lock and quest mage, so the meta may just need time to adapt.
Hyper aggro. That’s really it right now. “right now” being the key phrase.
Playing shadow priest and an old rush warrior deck.
I dont pay for cards.
Rush warrior is about a 50/50 split, so I’d give that a go. Playing shadow priest will be very rough since you cannot reliably get through all of their taunts + healing.
control priest, haha
You need to win board. I’ve lost games to the Pack Runner on turn 2 vs Face Hunter. Really hard to take down that card early enough with Paladin. You should be able to overwhelm with Hunter if you get the board early enough.
Run 2 copies of Devolving Missiles.
Highroll with garrote memes.
Except the stupid bug where they still count as “breaking” divine shield loss for the weapon. I know they’ve acknowledged the bug, but I do hope it gets fixed next week.
Play Shadow Priest…thread.
Am I missing something? Doesn’t paladin kill shadow priest quite easily?
Not normally. Buff paladin takes at minimum 3 turns to really get going. The current SP decks have already taken the board at that point unless they got an awful draw. The SP deck is slowly climbing in power as it becomes more and more refined.
Paladin doesn’t have any real removal, I play a Hunter deck with a lot of rush minions (ramming mount is also crazy good) and it’s usually a pretty close fight for who gets to keep the board.
