After this concept, no reactive cards should exist. Just go full pro-active or you donât have the right to play.
Reactive decks existed since the beginning of Hearthstone and they suffered WAY more than any pro-active aggro or mid-range deck ever had to. Just because you, personally you, donât like it, doesnât mean that they should not exist or just have a âI will delete your deckâ card.
You can hate it as much as you like. I also hate Kingsbane or infinite early-agressiveness but I donât want a card that says âDelete all cards that costs 3 or lessâ. Such a card will for sure counter the aggro degeneracy but is not the way to counter. A counter fights against it, doesnât just go the cry-baby mode âI HATE YOU SO I THROW YOUR DECK IN THE TRASH CANâ.
I didnât mean specific at this next expansion.
Earlier or later the meta with slow down a bit like we had in Scholomance, and then you wonât have to fear aggro that much as today and Tickatus will show his nasty face.
But Tickitus canât be strong cos a top streamer made a video where he got perfect rng draw which won him the game on the spot while the opponent drew no removal.
That sample size of one clearly demonstrated that tickitus isnt an issue, especially if you play at top legend where no one plays it so you never encounter it anyway.
The logic is flawless, just uninstall or git gud.
No itâs all versions of that deck that struggle against aggression. The data is quite clear on that.
Then why does the deck have so many bad matchups and very often a sub 50 winrate?
So tell your kin to stop making new threads about this card every time they lose to it.
Iâve been playing since naxx and I can assure you that the rare time the meta does slow down it doesnât last long. The scholomance meta youâre describing lasted a few weeks at most. By September the best decks were face hunter, highlander hunter, soul dh, and either weapon or stealth rogue decks. All aggro or burn decks. The meta we have right now is pretty typical for this game.
How about itâs not strong because the decks itâs in are incredibly weak against the most common and effective strategies in this game? Is that better for you?
Iâd challenge anyone complaining about this card to build the decks itâs in themselves and try it out if youâre so sure itâs op. See for yourself how bad it actually is

You can do all of those things.
Câthun the shattered increases deck size, lowering Tickatusâs impact on your deck.
Hecklebot and Volâjin can snag him (or more impactfully, Yâshaarj) before he has an effect. The odds of hitting one are even pretty decent, as Tickatus locks run very spell heavy.
You can apply pressure and Tickatus is unplayable because he is an 8/8 with no immediate impact, so the lock has to cast removal instead.
The card is awkward to play unless things go perfectly for you.
And in the vast majority of games, you still draw 20/30 of your cards, which is more than enough for most decks to beat a lock (even with all of their removal).
Thereâs a reason Tickatus is not in the best performing lock decks.

So when kobold steals it and removes it as a win condition, is that a bad card too or are you uber big brain awesome for control tech?
Is it a requirement of control players that you donât comprehend that there is space between polar opposites?
Seriously most of the problems here are that people are uncompromising and refuse to solve a problem. If you are unwilling to adapt your plan to thwart your opponentâs plan, then you lose. Thatâs how the game is made.
If it deletes more than 10 cards itâs not ticky, itâs you.
So counter it by playing faster instead of crying for us to throw Tickatus in the trash can.

Thatâs a good point about Stickyfinger. You see them emoting for a few seconds like they just won Grand Master, concede, shrug and move on, safe in the knowledge that that card loses them more games than it wins them.
Or alternatively cry to the forums reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
