Patchwork is no tech card, and dirty rat is a 2 mana 2/6 body. They have so many effecient board clears and so many ways to generate them that I don’t see how it’s a real liability. Asphyxiate, corpse exsplosion, blood boil, a life steal fireball, soulsteaker, and they don’t just have mograine to kill your with either. They generate bull @&!? like the scourge and banshee can make really threatening boards with their life gain.
Meanwhile tony Druid’s gets destroyed by aggro….utterly. Paladin probably has close to a 90-10 matchup against Druid. That matchup is unwinnable. Hunter, rogue, and any class that drops school teacher on curve into midrange threats and wide boards are an issue. Totem shaman is a nightmare.
If Druid does not DONINATE blood DK there is no reason to run the tony jailer combo. The immune attorney at maw + mish mash mosher combo is cute, but it’s 10 mana. That’s extremely expensive even for ramp Druid and only does so much to quell shgressive boards. This is no scales of onyxia. That extra 3 mana is a premium price to pay. It matters a lot.

Discover functionality, with too many low cost DK spells being super-powerful - it just sometimes becomes that ridicolous that one want to just quit playing the game altogether…
Met a blood DK just now that with Hematurge x 2, Vampiric Blood x 2, School Teacher x 2 - was able to use that for 6 x Vampiric Blood. Meaning +60 heal and 95 max health.
When that happens, not any class can beat that - with the other removal tools of Asphyxiate and Soulstealer. And Blood boil for AOE + heal.

Even at 95 max health, there are several decks floating around that do indeed beat blood DK regardless of health. Control decks are a reaction to the fact that the meta usually shifts to hyper aggro on rotation( it did at first)
The meta is volatile, a lot of people play blood DK because it is the best way to experience the new meta without insta losing to the degenerate BS Team 5 has allowed to be meta. Complaining about blood DK is completely disingenuous. The issue is with the mechanics not the class.
Discovering too many cards? Thats because discover is a flawed mechanic. Too much HP? What about hero power druid? They generate just as much armor, sometimes more. Some cards feel too good, but thats just because they are good against the deck you are playing. Im confident Blood DK will fall from grace if people start actually trying to play the meta. There are other classes that are frustrating to play against and they will take over without blood DK or priest as a balance pillar.
Rogue dumping over 20/20 in stats turn 4. Better have the EXACT removal needed on curve or else.
Mage (normally my favorite class) is nothing but repeating the same cards over and over and is lame and not interesting.
Paladin will burst you from hand for over 10 damage with divine shields multiple turns in a row when left with a single 1/1.
Druid is the worst without blood DK. Not only decent early game, but the late game jailer combo is toxic and blood DK is the only class that can handle it.
The play patterns that have been pushed by team 5 are not fun to play against and incredibly uninteresting. Blood DK is not any better, but if you want to beat it play counters. Control priest, big paladin, demon hunter(?) counter the deck pretty hard.
If you can’t beat blood DK, it’s because your deck is not designed to.

Either buff all the other classes so they are as streight forward as paladin and DK or nerf them both 2 to the ground.

Blood DK does run new cards. Like the new Arcanite Ripper weapon, the new Discover 2 Ghost Writer, and the Lifesteal Screaming Banshee.

Prob is devs dont even know how to make proper cards let alone buff/ nerf there own game. We prob gonna hear every class needs new cards other than DH and paladin next.
DKs are way too strong period. It is taking the fun out of the game.
Their solution was buffs but they didn’t even get that right. Warrior came up a little bit but that’s about it. I’ve noticed no significant change otherwise
