Or, simply change priest hero power to “All damage has lifesteal.” Then all cards can have lifesteal removed, so discover by your opponent will not aid them as much. Also, priest can focus only on damaging, and we can pretend that whole WoW inspired separation of heal or damage never happened.

One of Priest’s two healing specs in WoW (Discipline) literally heals by dealing damage.

Stop pretending that isn’t a thing.

In real life there was a healer who discovered that chlorine would kill the evil elements in drinking water. Does that give license to the general public to put as much bleach as they think they need in their drinking water to stay healthy? No! There is a very small amount of chlorine used in drinking water (or swimming pools) to keep the water holy pure, right? You can’t trust the public to know what is a safe amount. They will likely poison themselves with it. Premeasured chlorine tablets are sold for purifying natural water sources for hikers to avoid this problem, for instance.

So, WoW priest had a DoT spell that damaged and healed, and that gives license to Hearthstone devs to change priest’s hero power to “All damage has lifesteal.” Yes? No? Maybe so?

I know, but it only heals face and no longer heals your board, and priest likes to have healthy minions.

I’m willing to agree with that. It’s just that priest already has a number of ways to heal his own face in particular and holy nova’s advantage is that it simultaneously heals face and minions with just one card. That’s where I’m coming from.

Poor trolling attempt.

Obviously for balance reasons that would he OP, so they settle for something in between. Additionally, you should stop referencing WoW since you clearly have no idea what the Atonement passive is or how it works.

priests biggest weakness is that it cant do multiple things at once. it cant both heal their face a lot and remove the board, so that buffed holy nova would swing the tempo matchups alot in priests favor.

Northshire cleric and acolyte of pain need to come back too. The latter was not a priest card, but it’s obvious who could get the most out of it. Plus, the voice acting for acolyte was spot-on.
