Is there anyway to see if I had those cards before the 8th of october?

This forum its not for funny comments this is the only way for players that they try to communicate with blizzard cause they have problems to solve and make this game better…

My first ticket’s response was pretty boilerplate. I’ve replied highlighting that I can’t even craft the missing cards. Hopefully that will be enough to help them find the issue.
They were gifted to all players through an event 
I’ve encountered this problem before. I started missing cards and then all my Basics disappeared. It started with the previous solo adventure update. I read online that the update had problems so I waited an entire couple of weeks before opening a ticket. The customer support kept saying I never had those cards to begin with and that this bug had never happened before. So I provided proof. I showed him the article, previous complaints by players and screencaps of my characters, who have clearly leveled up to the point where I would have acquired the cards. But he just repeated what he said earlier. At that point, I suspected that this guy has no idea about the game. He’s tech support or a programmer or whatever, but he’s never played the game because he doesn’t understand the meaning of Basic Cards.
I closed my ticket and rage quit HS. But I still checked in from time to time out of habit. Then boom, one day the problem fixed itself.
I’ve been playing fine for a few weeks now but as of the recent update, I have the same issue again.
I’ll probably just wait for the problem to resolve itself because opening a ticket has been an aggravating waste of time for me, as it pertains to this bug. But I’ll add my voice to indicate that it’s not an isolated incident.

My Light bomb is missing as well. Crafted before the patch
The same problem. Sylvanas and N’Zoth are gone.
I had them for years.
Could it be that I turned them into dust when I saw them duplicated? I remember that I was surprised to see them duplicated (I had not played for a long time and did not know the event), but I am not sure if I turned them into dust.
I wonder if other letters have disappeared and I have not noticed.
Mine missing too, Ragnaros, N’zoth, Sylvanus and others.
When do we get them back so we can play with complete decks.
I have read the blue post and it didn’t happen like the blue post said. I didn’t get to keep those cards in my Wild Collection
“What this means is that if you had the cards in Wild prior to October 8th (when the Standard Shake-Up event started) you will keep those cards in your Wild collection. However if you did not obtain the cards from packs or crafting previously, then they would have been granted for free temporarily only for the duration of the event.”
- Did you own those cards on October 8th (when the event started)?
(If you had them a long time ago but disenchanted them when they moved out of Standard, then you didn’t have them anymore and there’s no reason why you should suddenly get them back now) - Did you disenchant the “duplicate” copies of those cards during the event? Perhaps because you had not paid sufficient attention to the various popup messages that told you that the cards that were added on Oct 8th were only temporary? If so, then that’s tough luck, but you did choose to disenchant your permanent copy so now it makes sense that you don’t have the card anymore.
- When searching for the cards, did you set the expansion filter to show All Cards? By default, it is set to Standard only. The event cards were temporarily back in Standard, but are now back to Wild only. You won’t see them if you don’t change the defaults, and you won’t be able to find them when building a deck for Standard. Either view your collection with the All Cards filter, or build a deck and switch the deck type to be a Wild deck.
If, after checking all of the above, you are still sure that you miss a card that you should have, open a ticket with Customer Support. You might be asked to post on the forums; if that happens keep in mind that Customer Support can ask you that as a way for them to ensure that the developers are aware of common issues (because they apparently do not have an internal back channel for that).
But that’s the only purpose of raising the issue here: making the developers aware of bugs in the game. This forum is not intended to solve individual customer issues such as missing cards. Nobody here has access to actual player data. Only Customer Support can solve such issues.
So by all means, post here so that the devs are aware. But keep following up with the ticket as well, until you are either given a solution, or a good explanation of why there is no problem.

Same here, along with TONS of more cards. I really hope Blizzard address this issue.
Same here, missing several legendary cards that I remember playing with back in the day, and I have never dusted a legendary unless it was a duplicate.
I opened a ticket and they closed it claiming that it was resolved, but I’m still missing my cards. Ticket number: 69919666
I won’t be spending any more money on this game.
