Ha-ha, good one!

What election, by the way? Isn’t the [REDACTED]rigged[/REDACTED] one in Moldavia over already? Haven’t heard of any interesting or significant others lately.

Anyway, you’ve got a point here. :grinning: Although I’ve had no intention of playing Standard yet, maybe we’ll see what their intentions regarding Twist are and whether they’ll keep it up, so who knows, perhaps I’ll see some of you in the tavern indeed.

LOL i played 7 games and 5 were Quasar Rogue with 2 being elemental Fire Mage(IE: New Lamplighter). Lost to them all trying to actually play for the board. How stupid of me to think playing these silly starship cards would be part of the meta in any way. Not one of my games went beyond turn 6.

I played a few hours of this expansion launch today and tried many new cards and deck ideas. This is without a doubt the worst balanced expansion launch since United In Stormwind.

The game feels like a complete mess right now with absolutely zero player agency. Constant turn 4-6 OTK’s now with Quasar Rogue, Elemental Mage playing brain dead turns over and over, 90% of the new cards being complete garbage compared to all the old cards, Starships being completely unplayable bad in every class besides Death Knight, even if you do build a Starship it immediately gets stolen by Reska, MCT or Yogg-- or any other number of ways to just instantly nullify it. I could go on.

Worst expansion launch in 4 years without a doubt.

First expansion in at least a year that generally offered a real shakeup, though to achieve that we got insane power levels to supplant old meta decks. I hope the new Shadowverse game is good. I’ll still have MtG, in the end.

As always.

Already have written why recently, lemme just quote it here, too:
