Game is unplayable on MacOs with the latest patch. Tried a full reinstall but still issues. Game freezes constantly. Can’t pinpoint a trigger for this but it froze about 5 times in 5 minutes so I gave up. M2 MacBook Pro, Sonoma 14.3.1. Feels like some major issues with this version of the game.

Same, but I’ve figured out that it somehow connected with multitasking while being in fullscreen mode, after shifting between open apps game just freezes and you’re forced to close it and enter again to be able to play 
WTF is going on with Blizzard?
You’re dropping the damn AVALANCHE of useless cosmetics to squeeze every dime from the fanbase the same time the game DOES NOT WORK. This is like P1 priority level, but even after a patch nothing seem to work (wow, what a surprise)
A huge fan of Hearthstone, but this is it - I suggest everyone to stop playing until the company will take action on making a game playable And how painful it is - we all know that they won’t
Seconding this as a macOS hearthstone player. Never had an issue like this since I started playing macOS 3 years ago and I’m very sad that I can’t play the game in the last few days of a qualifying month. Hope Blizzard can reply to this post when it’s fixed so I know when I can play again, I would be very grateful for it.

I have a mac m3 pro, and here’s how I fix this. Previously it’s flickering colored square.

I tried to change the resolution. I think eventually the game can run on a 3024 * 1964 resolution.

Then I tried to use the windows mode (not full screen mode) after logging into the game. Then I changed the resolution back and it still works.
how did you change resulution with color square on the screen? can i change any settings outside the game?
The same. Square 've been fixed by window/unwindow the game, but it freezes when switching desktop
same problem here. Cant play at all.
A solution worked for me.
My problem occurs when I open the game, it stays in black screen but I could hear the sound. Not playable then.
I just drag the screen that was open in the second desktop and drop it into the first desktop. HS is now in window mode and playable. Good luck with your issue!

Guys, there is a solution to it. Just drop the screen by three fingers move and then move it by your mouse to do another screen and the game pops up. It is in the screen but after that I run it and it was again in full screen.

I found a solution: Delete folder contents for Mac is located in /Users/YOUR-NAME/Library/Preferences/Blizzard/Hearthstone
still have this problem. Should I redownload the battle.net?
FIX: Don’t use full screen, just run it in default window idk. Had the same problem and it’s fixed.
