Card is no where near as bad as people claim.
When I was playing Smeet’s BSM deck, if I got Khadgar out on curve or on turn 5 I usually won the game.
He is incredible value.

yeah. All of you know why I dislike the card. No mystery there.
But I’m glad he works for players who enjoy the playstyle.
again 4 u8nits on oponent side he caST counter spell
RNG like this will never be my thing, but you cannot ignore that other players are performing with the card.
I think you might need a tutor.

Yes, he randomly casts spells. AoEs among the rarest thing he does. Don’t play him to get an AoE, you will be disappointed most of the time.
He helps you keep control of the board and mess with future opponents plays way more than he helps you take back a board. Use your other cards for that.
Unless clearing the board yourself will 100% result in losing the game
In that case, you should count on him to cast aoe, as then your chances of losing are a bit lower than 100%
Yeah, if he is your only out, play him, but otherwise try basically anything else first.
And, as I’ve noticed lately with his blizzard casts… Make sure something on the opponents board has 2 health.
is it save 2 life blizzard ore 50%
I thought mage players loved to spin the Wheel of Randomness? Hasn’t that been Mage’s main schtick for the past couple of years now? Khadgar is fine if you go into it with the mindset that it’s an RNG card, not a game-winning one. A counterspell at the right time can mess up the opponent and a frostbolt or fireball to the face or two can end games. You just never know what Papa Khadgar’s going to do. It seems like a card designed for a bygone era of the game, when things were slower and people couldn’t easily flood the board or pump out fat minions with mana reductions.
Plenty of mage players have been calling for years, asking team 5 to flush this strategy, which they created along with DH and DK, because they had no design space left. Mage was not this before them. It was freeze/stall. It was burn, and it was spell damage.
The people who replaced the actual designers of this game destroyed the class.
