Maybe its because Blizzard never learns from mistakes and just power creeps harder every single content release? They don’t care how good a game it is, only how they can increase player spending by as much as possible. Remember how you got card packs from the rewards track for the current content before? Now they are “Standard Packs” that give you old cards but get around the pity counter because they are not from the same “set”, thereby increasing the packs you must buy to get the same leggos and epics. GG Actizzard, what schill will be next?

I am actually really enjoying this expansion. There are so many good options and I still feel like I"m trying to figure out which is which… I haven’t even had a chance to touch hunters, or druids. But I’ve seen them in action.
Lots of variety as well. Once everyone figures out the cards, people won’t be using boxes of tissue as much as they are now.

There is a new Priest card that I feel is way overpowered.
Over powered card. Priest card that is supposed to cost 10 and destroys your opponents gems so they have only one gem the rest of the game, plus gives them 15 attack for three turns. I just had an opponent play that card with 6 gems not 10. It completely ended the game because there is no way to fight against that.
i find this expac great all they gotta do is put quests in wild game will balance itself out real nice i mean theres a lot of great cards but there is too many win button for mage an pally i will admit priest is kinda op but it actually requires u to spend mana unlike mage u can clear quest with 1 an 2 cost cards usually done turn 4-6 than they have flow to make those already too cheap spells even cheaper i auto concede against mages that use quest, its faster to quit an req than get blasted in the face for 6 turns
In Hearthstone, it’s not whether you win or lose, but how many turns you have to play for.
I did bronze to legend the first night and I kid you not, of the 50+ games I played, NONE lasted turn 9 or 10 (I think I got to turn 8 twice). Every single class is smorc. Quest lock, aggro pal, spell mages, quest hunter, shadow priest, ele shaman, pirate warrior (almost saw no druid, dh, and rogue). This is legit the stupidest meta ever, and I’ve played every meta since classic.

I don’t remember people complaining that much about the Barren’s meta.
I know some people hated Priest but it was a tier 3 deck and while I understood why they didn’t like it, it didn’t seem like a big deal to have to occassionally against play that deck.
There were complaints about too much aggro which seemed more reasonable but the aggro problem was nowhere near as bad as it is now.
Most people agreed that SA had a very good meta.
The difference being this one genuinely is “the worst expansion ever”.
There have been boring expansions, but this one is just straight out gamebreaking for reactive strategic players.

I feel Hs has crossed a line this expansion, decks are so powerful and games so short Standard feels like Wild.
There’s not enough time for interaction, even if I am playing a deck with actual minions!!! The game often comes down to a ‘big turn’ from my opponent which i have to sit through well after the rope burns , and I’m either alive and therefore win the game or dead to garotte/ignite, zero cost hero power/fatigue , it feels like my actions have almost zero impact on the outcome and sitting through 2 mins of the same sets of animations is tedious.
I’m intrigued to know how many players enjoy this style.

And I think Un’goro was much better. Every class was good and had multiple viable decks.
