So I switched to a non-armor Druid after I posted this and I didnât see any more Platebreakers (or ETC) in many more matches. Which is strange because they were appearing every other match when I was using Linecracker Druid. I wonder why this is? Is it simply pure coincidence?
This really wonât say if they have platebreaker or not. Like when steamcleaner was in standard it would stay in the opponents hand or etc unless they needed it. The only reason one sees tech that counters their deck is because even if they are in the opponents deck they are inefficient to play compared to many other cards in their hand.
If you read what I wrote you would see I was talking about people running the actual Platebreaker cards, only once did someone use an ETC for the Platebreaker, all the rest of the times they literally ran the actual Platebreaker card (sometimes x2)
Itâs typical of this forumâŚ
If you donât say the mainstream BS, your post get flagged by some self-appointed forum warrior and then deleted. It tells a lot about this company and their thin-skinned fanboysâŚ
I mean, platecracker is one of the few things that actually beats linecracker, and is good into HP druid (donât know if thatâs good), odd warrior, no dupe warrior, and other decks. Itâs a fairly common tech card in aggro. Oh well?
I didnât know Platebreaker was a fairly common tech card (never saw it vs aggro though), it does seem strange I have only seen it, and seen it so often, when I play Linecracker Druid, and donât see it if I play a different deck. I wonder why this is? It must be a pure/true coincidence, or something, right? How often do pure/true coincidences happen in this universe? Not just that, but to happen to me specificallyâŚwhat are the chances? HmmâŚ
You usually only run one copy, either in your deck or buried in E.T.C
Not really. Why would I play a vanilla 5/5 against any archetype that platebreaker doesnât counter?
If itâs buried in E.t.c, you likely just never see it. Even if not, usually not playing a deck where someone is so desperate for a play that theyâd drop a 5 mana 5/5 instead of literally anything else.
Because their hand/deck is exhausted and a 5/5 is better than nothing? Because a 5/5 is better than no 5/5?
If you read what I wrote I wasnât talking about it in ETC except that one time, all the others were people actually running the card (sometimes even x2)
