Easy fix to the bot problem

You’re not playing bots unless you share their mmr.

Ya, no, I don’t see this as a tell tale sign of bots.

Then you would have to explain why it’s happening then? surely everyone isnt doing it. It’s an algorithm.

You can’t see what they do on your turn, you can only see what they do on their own turn

Whatever you’re seeing, it’s not it

I’d rather you show us it’s happening.

As I have repeatedly told you, you can’t match a bot unless your mmr is the same as theirs.

I can see them hovering over my portrait on my turn. My portrait highlights red on and off. Yes they can.

This cure is much worse than the disease. I am thankful that you have no actual control over the game.

If you fail this captcha, your account is suspended for 6 months without any appeal

The OP single-handedly banned all the gaming population, playing Saturday nights.

If they only played each other, a single bot has around 0.5^14 chances to win so many in a row to reach your MMR, which is around 1 in 100 000, and you’ve seen two? Playing a tempo Druid deck?

That deck costs 12k dust, I guarantee you it’s not a bot piloting it.

Good luck in legend - you’ll need it after such a highroll streak

Make it difficult for players to do too, like have the fire hydrant just one pixel into the next box so most players fail it.

This is a good idea but the “capcha” must be very clear (for example it is difficult to tell the difference between a capital “i” (I) and an “l” (life), between a “B” and an “8”, …
It would be necessary to be able to change the capcha and have 3 attempts.

We can put sequences of letters and numbers or images.

6 months is perhaps a lot.

There may also be a risk that the capcha will be “decoded” automatically by a bot.

What is hilarious that a random chatter thinks that they will come up with an easy solution to a problem thousands of IT guys have been spending years to crack. That is the hubris

Then the bots would be able to solve them.

6 months suspension because I can’t figure out whether or not that motorcycle handle dangling in that 1 square counts as a box for motorcycles or not or if that last white line of the crosswalk clipping into another square counts or not.

Feels bad man.

Now hear me out. You could ALSO just beat the bots and never face them again. I mean seriously a bot is a free win and you just move on. It’s not like you are playing one after another.

There’s only one format where you will play multiple bots in a short period of time one after another. That’s Arena and it’s a well known problem.

That means someone was lazy on new account not that they are bots.
I have player more bots with names like 1111sky1111 then I have sleepyturtle.

But it you are playing bots, its based on your mmr not rank. Play better, Most bots have a mmr good enough for silver.

Bots tend to have very cheap decks or something like mech mage. If their has been a recent free legendary they all play that If they have a weapon they will hit a taunt If they cant hit the player. they will coin on turn 1 even if they have nothing to play.

I have no idea how many times I have failed captcha because they have a tiny bit of x in several squares. Your stupid idea would decimate the player base.

Exactly. It is easy to fix so your sarcasm really was in vain.

Nope, my sarcasm described actual delusions of grandeur where a random guy on the internet says he knows how to solve problem that thousands of specialists do not.

I cannot heal crazy so I can just react to it with snark.

You’re making it look like noone ever invents or finds out a way to do something thousands or even millions of others never could

Like no Newton, Tesla or Einstein ever existed

Even if the idea is bad, I don’t think you’re making sense here.

P.S. Ofc it’s a terrible idea.

Right, like it’s strange that theoretical physicist Einstein solved some problems in physics or unbelievable how engineer like Tesla could come up with some engineering inventions.

I mean, yes, you are right, it is statistically possible that some genius IT prodigy is frequenting HS forums. Based on the OP’s idea? I find that probability statistically insignificant.

This is a good idea.

We just have to think about how to do it.
ChatGPT gives 1 image at an angle and you have to click on its double among 6 images.
It doesn’t matter if hackers (not all) can bypass security, it doesn’t make things easier for them.

Sarcastic people who have nothing to offer, who are fatalistic and who criticize are to be ignored (and maybe some of them have bots and ideas don’t suit them).

:hugs:
