I tend to listen to more āchillā stuff whilst playing. Usually video game soundtracks. Music from WoW, Elder Scrolls, Dragon Age, Fable etc.
I squelch at the beginning of every game. Iām not really playing Hearthstone to interact with people socially. Iād rather just not have to deal with someone annoying that decides to spam emotes.
Yes. I tilt way harder in Hearthstone than any other game lmao. I donāt even know why - and I actively try to stop myself from doing it. I donāt think the current state of the game helps muchā¦ thereās so many frustrating things to lose to.

I donāt squelch. I say āHiā to all of my opponents. Itās just polite.
I live in a continual state of tiltation.
I put on music, or a random video and listen to it like a podcast. Or listen to random science stuff.
Anything that fitās the mood. Sometimes I just wanna be mellow, and put on nice LoFi or classical. Other times I put on some Rock, pop, country, etcā¦ Or sometimes if I get a Roper I might pull out my Guitar and work on some songs Iāve made.
I forget thatās a thing sometimes, It pretty sad how people spam emotes before they win sometimes, til the rope burn to the last second.
Thatās a loaded question, cause I think everyone get tilted if they play hearthstone decently. And what tilts me the most generally , the BMās or people acting like their turn so hard when I literally can predict whatās in their hand before they play it to end me. You know what I mean if you ever play the same decks over and over.

Originally I asked only if we played with Hearthstone sounds, but I wanted to be specific. Then I decided to ask what people listen to while playing, because I find it interesting.

I only squelch if the opponent spam emotes without a logic, because it distracts me.
With the right timing, i do like emotes. Sometimes i even think āmy opponent should definitely emote hereā when it doesnāt emote.
I donāt like hs music, so i have it at the minimum; but i like the entrance quotes, so i have the other sounds enabled.
If i know i will play a lot, i put my own music too, but it is a very rare occasion

Do you listen to any science podcasts by chance? Which ones? I used to listen to Skepticsā Guide to the Universe. I stopped awhile back. Iām not sure why. I should really catch up, though. I admittedly am glad Rebecca is gone. She stopped being funny and (somewhat) reasonable after the whole Elevator Gate thing.
If you have never listened to the SGU, ignore almost all of that!

I get tilted when I lose badly in a paid mode like arena, or when someone friends me only to say insults after a game. For that reason I usually wait 24 hours before accepting an invite.

those are few Iāve listen too and some of them have weird mix thoughts, Like I forget which podcast they did believe on the world being flat and it was time and space make the world look non flat cause of how it bends planets, an other podcast was about those best way to live, and I feel some of them are weird in that thinking but they also had some respectable people on their podcast also, so it becomes a weird state of , you listen to try to understand those people. But other times they do talk logically about other stuff, so beware of that, sometimes you just leave it on āauto playā and just get into those weird rabbit holes and say āWell that part valid but that other doesnāt hold up, but it also does some how as itās explain with real world logicā
Yea that what I mean they sometimes are legit logical and smart but believe different things, and I have seen SGU in the auto play rabbit hole and when youāre just too lazy to get out of bed and just wanna lay there, I endure it.
Like I believe everyone has somewhat a valid point as everyone should have a voice, but depending on how you were born and raise you will side with them, or not over weird things.

Usually youtube for music, comedy channel, or news sources.
Only if they spam it. If they wanna do a friendly greeting, or if my opponent or i goof up and go āoopsā then thatās cool. i do that too sometimes.

suffer a setback, get frustrated about it, and have it go to your head
in which case i do suffer setbacks when creating new decks. Frustration or letting a bad game get to my head no. i use that as motivation to look into the deck iām working on to make it better. The heart of the cards aināt gonna save me if i donāt put any effort into my deck construction
