Do you accept friend requests from opponents after the game

I accept all friend request

… after one day they sent it.

It depends on the game, often I’ll pass because I know it’ll be white hot incandescent rage, but I’ve also found some chilled and knowledgeable players by accepting.

edit: wrong information.

I almost always accept unless I know they’re just going to be abusive. Sometimes even then. Lets them vent.

I usually accept the request. I think I still have one person on my friend list who made a friend request that way. At least one other didn’t go so well.

I will never accept friend requests after a match. All the times I accepted the friend request of my opponents I was harassed.

I uploaded the Mobile Battle.net app.

That way I accept in the app instead of the game, so if they flame and remove me, I can still denounce them.

Does anyone know what Blizzard does to people who get flagged for anti LGBT insults in the game?

And then they proceed to block you so you can’t reply

I don’t mind rage whispers, but I do mind not being able to reply. So I stopped accepting.

That’s why you accept the request on the Battle.net app instead of the game.

Even if they try to block you the interaction is saved so you can still report them.

Of course! I want to laugh at angry people

I do most of the time. I play decks that are not meta and are very fun to play. Most of the time I receive a friend request they want to know the cards in my deck and/or tell me that the deck is great, although there was one time I received a friend request from a sore loser who just promptly sent me a message and unfriended me before I could give a witty reply about their resurrect priest deck that had just been defeated by me.

I accepted one today!

I thought the player wanted to tell me “wow, you really discovered ticketus on turn 1 from demonic studies? wow”

Man, I was wrooooooong

note: I just realized that in wild he is at bronze. Malding at bronze! Seriously, this guy had raza on turn 5 as well during my game AND in the next one: does he have the right to be mad that I burned anduin?

edit: the screen is me spectating him

This is incorrect. You can easily unsend a friend request.

dang youre right. i havent checked in years i didnt know it changed. i swear there was a time when you couldnt…

Too Many Pending Friend Requests

Pending friend requests that you’ve sent will count against your friend list limit.

To view your sent friend requests:

  1. Open the Blizzard App
  2. Click on the Blizzard logo and click on Settings
  3. Click Friends & Chat
  4. Click View Sent Friend Requests

If you have a lot of pending requests out, delete some and try adding each other as friends again.

I accept, because I often try and friend after a game. Mostly, I sarcastically congratulate them for the creativity and originality of their deck–which is an exact copy of the other 7 decks that dominate the meta. But 99% of the recipients miss the sarcasm and accept the praise as genuine. Need to get better at sarcasm, I guess.

I’ve only had one friend request in the last 3 months and the person had added me to call me things that I can’t repeat here, I was playing ETC Warrior, you know that deck famous for having a low skill ceiling.

I personally add people all the time after close games though win or lose and I’m mainly greeted pretty nicely.

Usually salty players, so I accept the request and get a good laugh. My favourites are tears from priest players

i never accept because im also one of people who send requests to trash talk people after their lucky wins,i also have a notepad with quick notes of names and reasons,so if they accept the requests after a week i still know why i added them(highly recommended)
