Demon Hunter Was A Fail?

It wasn’t that long ago that DK came out and they had to change fundamental effects of the game to prevent DK from being as bad as DH
Preventing 3 runes cards from discover, does no one remember “infinite” vampires bloods/frostwyrm’s fury this was a thing on release
On its release we seen each of the runes take a turn having a tier1 deck that got “nerfs”
-bloods was the discover change no 100+max health DK
-glacial advance nerf from 2 to 1 mana cheat plus no infinite discover of frostwyrm’s
-unholy did a roller-coaster of buff/nerfs resulting in some aggro cards getting nerfs, what was blightfang originally…

Circle around time to what the post is about, DH isn’t a failure they have had competitive decks that aren’t overpower and they have had diverse and unique design with decks like BIG demons/ Il’gynoth combo/ no-minion DH

DK might be less hated because all there powerful “busted” cards get restricted at 3 runes so you don’t see EVERY broken card in the same deck, also most players hate on aggro so DH kind of gets a bad rep because they usually push their aggro pieces and have to dial them back

The problem wasn’t with the triple rune cards per se. It was the insanely small discover pool they played with last year that allowed them to abuse those cards. Put them back into the rotation now and they get them far less often. It was a needed change at the time that needs to be reverted like a bunch of other unnecessary nerfs we have to deal with still.

The class wasn’t a fail in the beginning, just the stories involving them. Unlocking demon hunter was a headache that conditioned everyone who did it to start hating druids (or at least hate Malfurion) Whereas in Ashes of Outland it teaches demon hunters to hate fighting demon hunters at the end by making you fight Big Daddy Illidan, a fight that was impossible until X expansion dropped X demon for you to summon in the fight with a “summon a random demon” for you to bulldoze the fight with. When you’re powerless in your own story until sunken city gives you a colossal you ain’t even supposed to know exists yet just for your story to have a proper ending, that REALLY suggests the class wasn’t worth all the “training” you took to become a DH.
