Current State of Battlegrounds is absolute garbage

Correct. There are more than two minions in the game. lol. Seriously, yes, I am referring to something outside those two listed. I’ll give you a hint: What BC minion buffs the lobby?

I dont know every minion of the game so :man_shrugging: you got me. its why I was asking for all the clarification. I wasnt asking to be interrogated about stuff I dont know about…

I also see you didnt answer my followup question, and given there are only two minions listed in the example, my confusion is coming from how can those interact in a way that actually benefits the ones already in play? they cant because there is no tavern for them to absorb anything from… unless it absorbs opponent’s minions?

Let’s try Felemental for $800, Alex!

Which one is that? I dont know the name, nor knew anything with a BC affected lobby

I think if you approached the situation as I initiated it, you’d see this is egregiously incorrect.

I gave you a challenge. If you don’t want to go about it, then don’t. Simple. It’s just you’re the guy who constantly says they’re surprised by big boards. This would be a big board. Again, I’m giving you the tools to reach the conclusion on your own and possibly give you a better idea and advantage next time you have the options.

If you want to slap my hand away, by all means go ahead, but I am just trying to assist.

:+1:

Felemeltal? The tier 3 demon elemental that gives minions in the tavern 1/1 for the rest of the game. Key unit in rylak/peckish builds and by key I mean it’s a must have because otherwise peckish stats will begin to fall off without tavern buffs.

Its more like: Hey I dont know whats going on here, someone explain?

You: I wont explain, i will ask questions about the thing you dont know that is going on.

me: I dont know. can you just explain it?

You: repeats asking about it.

Edit: Thank you Worried, I appreciate you being straight to the point and directly answering my questions. What does it look like? I must not be noticing it becuase it might resemble another minion. Almost all elementals are identical to me so I dont generally ever consider using them.

Slap it is

Good day!

If you consider what you were doing there as anything but interrogating me about something i clearly dont know what Im asking about… then yeah, good day. The only slap happening is you to your own back for punching down on me to make yourself feel superior by gloating about your knowledge and my lack of it. I dont like having games played on me like that…

I said “good day”, sir!

I know why you gave away the factory… you’re afraid of OSHA violations out the wazoo…

This isn’t the first time you’ve hit this step in a discussion here.

And not for the first time, someone’s (in this case multiple someones) gave you the information you needed to find what you were looking for.

But you have what I can only politely refer to as a severe, almost allergic reaction to even the possibility of looking something up.

And you can’t blame others for that.

It would be like, come the usa elections day me throwing a fit because no one here would tell me who the next president was.* Then doubling, tripling, and so on down on it, the whole while I could tab over and look up the information in less time than it took to rage about no one spoonfeeding me.

At some point, just make sure your settings are set to your liking, your browser and your system’s protections are set to maximum, then open that search engine! Some operating systems have them built right in now!

*first big “easy to look up” example I could think of. Not meant to start some kind of silly off topic rager.

I dont know enough about what I was asking about to look that up. I dont make a habit of giving myself homework to do just to answer a question I have about the game.

That is exactly what the forums are for outside of the bug reporting.

In order for me to even begin to find that answer, given I didnt know enough of what they were getting at, I’d have to google a list of all minions in BGs currently and start looking at them all, singling out the BC minions as I went, Im not gonna do that because someone wants to interrogate me.

It wasnt a simple matter of “Is it option A or B?” like your example. It more like “Solve for X in this: X = y + z + y + 2(w+2)” without the info one would need to find out what the other variables are, and I;m asking "so what is y? Im not given the formula to determine y, how can i possibly solve for x? " Cant really just google that equation and find what I was asking about…

It’s there, but it would have required you to look for it outside the instant gratification of someone handing you the answer right then and there.

I can’t imagine willfully cutting myself off from potential avenues of knowledge in the hopes someone else would answer my question faster. Especially when looking for the information in question often reveals other useful information that comes in handy later.

I cant imagine going thru each every minion in BGs and taking a note of every BC one I come across, just to find one of them that fits what was being alluded to. Given that the allusion didnt even tell me what the BC could possibly have been that affected the felbats. Besides, my question was about how the Rylak and the mystery BC minions affected the feldrakes that already are in play that round. That was never addressed and not even hinted at them not being relevant even tho the original post listed them both so ambiguously I could never have known that ahead of time.

This is in no way on the same level as the critical thinking I was trying to get you to apply to assist you. There are a limited number of minions in the current minion pool. In fact, you COULD have used the two minions in the initial comp explanation to figure it out. One is a Dragon/Demon the other a Beast, so the amount of minions you’d have to sift through to figure it out is greatly diminished.

But you can’t be bothered to put in an effort.

Also, just to jump on you “solve for X” hypothetical and your disdain for putting in any effort, if I just simply told you the answer to X, are you learning anything? Is that truly benefitting you?

If you noticed my example, I asked not for x, but that in order to solve for x, I was asking how do I find that out if you dont tell me how to find y or any other variable? So I was asking for a direct answer, sure, and there is nothing wrong with that since that is how learning from questions we ask works… but if you’ll notice my example shows I am trying to figure out the problem laid out for me Im just not given enough starting info to even try to begin that.

The tribes of the 2 already listed dont actually have a bearing on what the possible mystery BC minion might be given I dont know ahead of time like you did. I would still have to browse all possible ones in order to filter out which ones affect the tavern. then I could deduce by the tribes but I couldnt rule out there being a neutral or dual tribe or all tribe BC minion straight away, so the only logical first step is to get a big picture view, sorta like a puzzle, you start with the edges first and work your way inwards.

This being a monumental and trivial task… I surely do not have the motivation to undertake such a thing when someone as helpful and ironically referencing a game while at the same time, not playing games with me, answered the question directly. Which was immensely helpful.

I gave that combo a try. I was able to get 1 feldrake out after finding the green elementals and the rylak. I see how it could help FUTURE feldrakes but not already existing ones… well maybe if I ever got the spell that lets me trigger a battlecry… but thats pretty rare too. I died at round 10 tier 4 to a turtle with well over 100hp.

Never noticed the green elemental did that, as i hardly ever play them anymore because they lack any scaling that is reliable unless you magically make it to t6 and luck out to find anything. Its identical to the yellow and blue and purple ones so they all seem the same to me when I dont play elementals. Skip just like most the neutral trash. Never would have considered this combo with rylak. I had seen it with quillboars making the hp of each gem go crazy high, but Ive never been able to locate that BC boar for the life of me ever…that and beasts a re rarely with quillboars in the same lobby for me.

Yes. That is how learning works. you ask a question because you lack the knowledge of the thing asked about. Answer fills in that gap. This isnt like hey take a test for me, so I can pass my medschool exams and become a resident at a hospital. you might have a point then, but HS questions? Yeah, thats exactly how one would benefit.

Lol okay

I’m about to go find all my math teachers and frankly all of the other teachers, too, and give them a piece of my mind because they made ME give the answers for everything. Also, why’d I bother wasting time and money on all those pens, pencils, writing material, textbooks etc. if education is supposed to be “give me the answer, teacher”?

I actually did acknowledge and understand what you said. I’d say go back and read my post so you can try again, but I’m sure you can’t be bothered.

You don’t say? No. I was trying to help you. My mistake. I figured if I could direct you to the answer instead of just giving it to you, you may learn a little bit more than just “solve for x”. I was trying to be nice, but apparently you have a talent to find the worst in anything. I honestly believed you could figure it out, but you don’t want to try; instead you just got on my case about it.

You go ahead and keep complaining, I guess. I won’t bother you with the wrong kind of education again.

interrogation is indeed the wrong kind of educating.

Idk how you can say it is “Fair” when everyone gets different quests, random ways to complete, and usually the completion of the quest has nothing to do with the reward of the quest… On top of that, what happens after the quest is completely luck based on what shop you get.

Also I doubt you could be much higher in MMR, you likely quit because your about to take the L and don’t want to stick around with your hail mary of a chance of not going 8th.

Also, idk what you’re talking about choose a hero that can win or survive, everyone is picking that hero they think is best based on the tribes in the game. I can’t even count how many turn 3s I have seen lately with no 2 drops, while im fighting someone who hit absolute nuts and they deal 7 damage to me, and same thing for the next turn… random minions with no synergy or much value.

Been playing BGs since release and the only other time it was this awful was buddies. Game is uninstalled until next season.
