They haven’t flipped like you think. There are things RIGHT NOW as we speak that the right is trying to limit. Your point of view is flawed, likely from media misinformation and the left’s constant “cancel them” sensationalism. One state just passed a law stating it is mandatory for every kid to stand for the pledge of allegiance. Freedoms, especially those that involve religious freedoms, are constantly under attack from the right every single day in this country.
Make no doubt about it, if the right had their way they would force everyone in this country to practice Christianity or suffer some sort of consequence for it. I grew up in the Bible belt, it’s still a mess for those who are non-Christian.
That’s in the past, the rightwingers nowadays are all about freedom. See for example Covid measures: it’s no coincidence that the measures that are the most authoritarian are employed in leftwing-ruled states.
Sure, the right is still against abortions, because it’s horrible to murder human beings. Any child deserves the same protections as fully grown humans, even children who aren’t born yet. And as for the pledge of allegiance, the right has moved on from wanting to force it on everyone (which was indeed wrong), they’re fine if you stay silent, as long as you don’t actively do something to disrespect the country (and even then it never moves any further than anger: there’s a clear understanding it’s authoritarian to make rules governing something like this).
If you don’t see what the left has done over the years to restrict free speech and increase the power of the government, you’re the blind one. Both parties have shifted to the left: the left is now far-left which is equally as dangerous as far-right, and the right is now centrist.
I didn’t know 1 state was making children stand up and I do disagree with that. However, compared to all the authoritarian laws the left has introduced, that’s still hardly anything.
There’s only a climate catastrophe if you look at a small scale of a couple hundred to a couple thousand years. Climate is far too big to measure like that: it’s like looking at Antarctica, only a piece of the Earth, and saying “clearly Earth is an extremely cold planet”. Look at a scale of hundred-thousand to millions of years and you see today’s climate is completely normal.
I’m not saying that offline games don’t exist. They will always be around, like monopoly, and other offline console games. I mean you can buy a pack of cards and play card games at home, that does not require an internet connection. However, that being said, over the last decade there has been a huge shift from offline games to online games. It actually started longer than 10 years ago really.
The reality is people play more online game than offline games. So it is Solipsism? No, it’s the shift that has occurred in gaming due to advances in technologies.
uh huh. That’s why they want voting controls and the right to overturn elections with no evidence of fraud. That’s why they want control of women’s right to give birth or not, that’s why they only want freedoms for corporations, and not unions, or anything that helps individuals.
That’s why they have never fought for health care, or any infrastructure, or any ecological improvements.
Instead; they have lobbied for corporations to be allowed to poison our water, and sell our water back to us at a 300% markup, along with polluting Our Air and Land.
The only “rights” they have fought for is the right to kill one another with guns and
The right to infect one another with COVID. The right for corporations to have more rights than individuals and be impossible to sue.
The right for weapons manufacturers to continue to pump out their instruments of death in spite of the fact that this is the most over armed nation on the planet.
The Right Wing only cares about giving tax breaks to the already rich, and letting the middle class pay for everything, allowing corporations to have zero oversight,
and allowing churches to operate as Corporations while pretending to be charities.
For elections to be sham affairs that they have the right to overturn anytime they don’t like the outcome.
Small government my foot. They believe in plenty of government for poor people.

It will be a real kick to see today’s generations in the fields wondering what happened to all their God, guns, and freedoms. The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.
Eh, I don’t care much. I grew up in the Bible Belt in the South where a vast majority of people are right wingers. He is admittedly not from around here and doesn’t know. It’s ok, most Americans don’t even know. I heard it daily.
The Evangelical Right is real, and they will tell you 100% that they believe their god comes before the constitution. This isn’t made up, this is real. The push for people to become Christians overrides whatever the Constitution says. This is why they vote against gay marriage and the like.
I can’t blame him for not knowing. But nothing I am saying here is opinion. I could go on to a FB page right now where those same people will tell you god before country. Bible before country. You can literally google it and watch youtube videos of people making this claim. It’s no secret.

Guns: without them the government has far more power. Guns give the people more power to overthrow the government (the reason the right to bear arms exists: to have a government that has reason to fear the people). Sure, I know guns matter less now with tanks and everything, but a population without guns is still far more easily controlled by the government than a population with them.
Covid: “we’re taking away your freedoms and rights, and it’s totally for your own good!”, sounds familiar? The perfect opportunity for a political party to grab control and power, and yet the right hasn’t grabbed it. But the left, they were jumping on the occassion.
It’s the right that taxes so much you say? Taxes have always gone up more under Democrat rule, even for the working class, than during Republican rule.
