Cards to look at for the sake of Wild

Wild will be going on to its 4th year, and as Hearthstone sees more cards, decks, and players see to this format I believe there is every right for Wild to see appropriate balance changes. With that being said let’s see what cards should be nerfed for the sake of Wild.

  1. Tour Guide. Naturally your hero power is technically worth 1 mana for what it does. However, the option to discount to 0 and have a 1 body has proven to be super busted. This card works in literally all deck archetypes. With Baku being a thing, this card acts like a neutral patches for how good it is. Bump the hero cost to 1 mana.

  2. Animated Broomstick. At 1 mana this card is just bonkers. Tempo is one of the most key things for Hearthstone, and for 1 mana being able to swing it makes this card far too good for what it is. I would suggest having this card allow for 1 minion to have rush and not all minions.

  3. Korin Tir Mage. Secret Mage can see a tone down on some Secret cards, and this one in particular is one of the breaking points for the archetype. Being able to cheat out 6 mana on turn 2 or turn 3 is far too good. Furthermore, it’s on an aggressive statline which makes tempo trading a lot easier as well as pushing for heavy damage. Drop the stats to 3/3 and/or make the secret cost 1 instead of 3.

  4. Raza the Chained. I don’t mind Razakus being a thing, but it just follows up too well with Raza into Reno into Scream into Anduin. Bump Raza to 6 or 7 mana for that tempo drop.
