In my last game I picked Adaptive Amalgam with +4/+5 dark gift with Xavius and ended my turn. On my opponents turn, he killed an Adaptive Amalgam of mine which was already in play. My next turn I didn’t draw the Amalgam from Xavius that should be on the top of the deck, instead I drew another random card. Is that intentional? Like, the Amalgam that got shuffled into my deck also shuffled the entire deck in that moment?
In Hearthstone if a card says “shuffle”, it really does mean shuffle, so yes it randomized the order of your deck after you’d placed the card on top of it.

Yes. Otherwise it would say ‘put in the deck’ or something, which I don’t think is ever worded that way.
