BOTS BOTS BOTS BOTS and oh yeah BOTS!

That was mean. Hilarious, but mean.

If I lose 1 match to a real player it makes me face a bot every game now. If I beat 4 legends at my legend rank I will continue to face real players however as soon as I lose 1 match it makes me face a bot again.

According to people in this post I supposed to play only against the bots entire time because my homemade decks gets overwhelmed by the powercreep in the meta so much I lose like %90 of the games. But I still play against the real people.

Also I am observing one weird thing in this game while playing thief rogue. One day I get extreme luck and get best spells and cards possible from the random pulls I get like %90 winrate entire day I even have like 14 winstrike with thief rogue in those days against the meta decks! The thief rogue is not even in the meta ranking.

But the next day I pull absolutelly useless cards from the randoms all the time and I lose majority of the games because of this reason. This is weird and there is no middle ground. I really don’t understand this.

How do you know? Do you know how to spot a blizzard bot?

You mean besides playing thief rogue? Because that’s pretty sus in the current meta.

Yes, cry HAVOC, and let slip the dogs of war!

Julius Ceasar is one of my personal favorites as well.

Loosing games is good business. No need to play too tight.

Just played my daily twist match. Human. Lost against them. Tho I’m still at an all time high for Twist Mode at Silver 7. I’ll let ya know about tomorrow’s match if I run into a bot or a human.

This page intentionally left blank.

decided to take another stab at it to see if I would encounter a bot or not. it was not. so far I have faced batman#(numbers) and chinese#(numbers) in both my matches. Lost both of them. But I am still at Silver 7. Still proud of that accomplishment.

I put #(numbers) so as not to go afoul of the anti doxxing namedropping policy. But suffice to say 2 for 2 humans. We will see how long this streak will go.

3 for 3 so far, NeonMoose#(numbers) and I got a win this time! woot! 1 Star towards Silver 6!

4 for 4 humans encounters. 0 bots. Leonore#(numbers) this time. Wrecked me brutally. they never took a hit from me and I couldnt keep anything on the board longer than the turn after it was played. I hate those type interaction decks. “Neener Neener! I have an answer to everything you do at all times! Check this out! Ive got 3 or 4 of the same spell and more than 1 of the same legendary. Neener Neener!” Just the worst type of player to play against.

6 for 6! Dannyfolf#(numbers) and Bruenix#(numbers). sadly 2 losses so Im down to Silver 8. I fear I might have plateaued climbing as high as I have.

7 for 7! Sbzry#(numbers) just barely beat me. Dang rogue card that plays every card they played that wasnt rogue class. I was just about to play Rommath too… oh well… Silver 8 seems to be where I will end this season. In 7 matches so far I’ve only won one of them… its almost exactly like how Duels runs for me go. lol

Is op by any chance using a bot himself?

That seems to be the most logical explanation to me. If blizzard thinks you run a bot to play then you will face a bot.

it is easy to spot them from their behavior pattern.

How so? Elaborate on that if you can

Nope. The blizzard bots are easy to spot by their names and the fact that you can’t send them friend requests.

Hey person, just thought someone should tell you you’re a real dick.

Thanks for your response. It is very informative.

I’m wondering if you can talk more about MMR. I understand the concept. I do not, however, play the same all the time, and wonder how it impacts MMR.

At the beginning of the month, I play the ‘funnest’ decks that often are not really good winners. At some points, I end up playing competitive decks that win, and ‘level up.’ When I get to the ‘floor’ of a level, say D10, if I’ve been playing a lot of competitive decks, I often switch back to fun (i.e., non-competitive) decks again.

Some months, I don’t seeks to advance and so play whatever. Other months, I play seriously in an effort to hit Legendary (which I’ve done 3 times–yeah!).

Often at Legendary, I don’t seek to play competitively because I don’t see the reason to do so.

This month was the first month that I ever encountered bots (only at Legendary). I really dislike them. I may just start conceding when I encounter them. I don’t see their point.

By the way, I always seek to win with the deck that I’m playing with, and play with likely 20-25 different decks in a month (or more).

Anyway, sorry for all the rambling, I appreciate any further insight that you have.

Pretty sure everyone knows that…They have a generic name and don’t appear in your recently played list…

Lots of real players have generic names.

This is the only correct answer.

You get no points because you included garbage.

No, he’s right in that the names follow a definite pattern. “Generic name” is a bit of a weird way to describe it, but they all have 2-word names following the pattern [adjective][noun] (with proper capitalization).

To be fair almost every band from the 90s and 2000s followed the same format of Words and a Number format.

Blink 182
Matchbox 20
Eifel 65
S Club 7
Sum 41
98 Degrees
Third Eye Blind
3 Doors Down
Twenty One Pilots
Thirty Seconds To Mars
Maroon 5
Three Days Grace
Finger Eleven
Ben Folds Five
Nine Inch Nails
Sixpence None the Richer
Eve 6

Honorable Mention from before the 90s:
Three Dog Night
B 52s

But all of these could easily be Bot names. lol.

The other guy was being a jerk though…
