I swear the last 6 times I tried him I have lost every single game and been knocked out before hitting tier 5.

He works best with deathrattle builds be it mechs or beasts

He needs to spend 1 mana to do something that isn’t that powerful, even if you highroll Zerus into Ghastcoiler.
Other heros can get a lot of stats for free. Those are the ones who will usually do better than him. Or someone like Yogg who gets units cheaper but with higher stats and randomly is better.
Early game stats are more important, so you’ll take damage from those people as Lich King and typically be on the route to being eliminated by the time you normally get anything worth giving Reborn.
Lich King is generally considered one of the weakest heroes in BGs, so the results you saw are not surprising. His hero power has its uses but tends to be too niche to win you many games.

Lich is bottom tier,i never pick him anymore.

Lich is tier 4 so yah not good. His power should just be permanent reborn for a minion so its at least good with strong deathrattles like ghastcoiler then maybe make it 2 cost if thats op at 1.

The big problems is that you spend 1 mana every turn to temporarily improve your board. Compare that to hero powers that cost 1 mana and make your board better for the rest of the game.
wow I don’t know why that never occurred to me, George is basically give a minion divine shield and it lasts until you sell it, this means basically a minion needs to be tapped twice just the same as lich king power with the added advantage that the king gets double deathrattles (disadvantage 1 hp)
I could see it totally working as a permanent thing at a higher cost (maybe 3 or 4?) and it might be decent
That’s a good idea imo. Might be extremely strong with innate poisonous minion such a maexna , though. In a deathrattle build, having a fullboard of reborn might be better than a full board of divine shield, as its not countered by ghoul.
