I was playing hearthstone battlegrounds this morning and ended on rank 6, this made me lose around 70-80 points and bringing me under 6000 points. I thought the game had set “floors” until 6000 points between every 500 points that you can’t drop under. So why did this happen to me today? This did not happen yesterday if I ended on the last place, that would have made me lose around 100 points. Is there some kind of bug or a new change that was not in the patch notes? DEVELOPER INSIGHTS: HEARTHSTONE BATTLEGROUNDS RATING SYSTEM UPDATE states: “There are rating “floors” between 2000 to 6000 for external rating. Your external rating does not drop below each “floor” once it’s above it. Currently there is a floor every 500 rating: 2000, 2500, 3000, 3500, 4000, 4500, 5000, 5500, 6000.” STILL I went from ~6050 to ~5980.
Same here. I just dropped bellow 5500 after I´ve been above this floow for a while. What is happening?
I have seen reports that some players noticed the following: when queuing alone, and losing rank points, they do not fall below the “floors”. But when queuing with friends, if they happen to loose ranks by finishing in the bottom 4, then they can be lowered below the floors. That sounds like a bug to me.
So, question: did you queue with friends when you dropped below the floors?

How much time they need to fix that? its over one week now. this is a small patch. buy the bundle for 80€ and here buy the tavern pass for 15€. U want a Patch? No we have no time for this!
Same issues here. I was around 4540, with one bad game loss, it dropped blow 4500 to 4477 ish.
I just lost 31 points in my battlegrounds game right now and dropped below 5000 to 4991…

Same here, drop under 2500. It’s ok, they keep the floor for big players so they can keep going up and stream and make money while we fight to try to get as much high as whe can losing all our points on lost
Still an issue apparently as I just dropped below 6000 and it’s January. Wtf blizzard. Fix this already!
