I only use it in BGs, so I can see which minions my opponents had last time I faced them. At my age it’s impossible to remember
Not sure if some replies are serious. The tracking isn’t for your 30 cards, the opponents might have bombs or eruptions or other autogenerated crap that the trackers track one by one.
I mean, sure, but it’s generally not particularly important to know the exact number of them in your deck at any given time.
I do enjoy looking back on the earliest tournaments where deck trackers were not allowed and seeing the competitors constantly scribbling down the cards to manually do the same thing though.
70% of the time I don’t need it for performance at all but small advantages add up. It’s very useful for doing achievements like “number of spell schools”. And of course Firestone is great for tracking history of replays.
It’s the main reason I know I’m full of crap thinking “I always lose to <class>”, when I tilt like a typical Hearthstone whiner.
I use it in BG’s and in regular HS i use it to hand track my opponents.
