If those people are engaged in a DOS attack, shouldn’t they get in trouble?

First it’s DDOS (distributed denial of service), usually perpetrated by a powerful botnet that saturates the web server forcing it to ignore traffic at one point. This is why we aren’t able to log on.

Second, whoever commands that botnet is most likely well hidden. So getting cought is highly unlikely.

Third, the only thing we can do is wait for blizzard IT Network specialist to fend off the attack or redirect it’s traffic through other trunks.
