Last i checked Kel’thuzad has been Mage hero for ages, even Skeleton Mage existed before Death Knight even released in this game…
So you find something that has been common place in Mage “humorous” ???
Wierd take, first time i see a class accused of stealing something they already had.
You must be a new guy who took over Orion’s account, because the original Orion should have been around when a certain other mage main cries rivers when shamans got freeze support in one expansion as “stealing” from mage, even though shamans have always had freeze both in the original via frost shock, and also in an earlier expansion (but those ones sucked)
That certain mage main also couldn’t handle skellie mage as being something for mages, even if we did tell him about Kel’thuzad and how necromancer is a kind of magic. Some mage players just really have a stick up their Aessinas
Mage looks neat. The wisp package doesn’t feel like it would be good into decks that go tall and cheat out stats early at all though. Like, if warrior plays chemical spill turn 5 and summons a tortollian that’s just game over isn’t it? That turtle gives the warrior 1 armor and gains 1 attack whenever it takes damage. What’s the mage gonna do? Ping the turtle a bunch? Before you know it the warrior will have gained 10 armor and the turtle will be at 10 attack smacking em in the face.
I predict Forbidden Shrine being one of the most rage inducing cards of the set. People will card it rigged when the Opponent gets High rolls like Galactic Projection Orb when they use it for 10 and when they get low rolls such as Crane Game for 8 in a deck with no Demons.
You need to make up your mind. You have, on numerous occasions, stated that it takes a year to have the collection required to be competitive.
Now you are saying the polar opposite!
Wow is 20 years old, how old do you think people are on average in this forum? You’re probably on the youngest percentile if I had to bet.
Anyways, back on topic, I predict wisp mage to be the new noob deck plaguing ladder that will be immensely dull and annoying. At least they included a way to interact with its gameplan by having the token’s death condition. You can mostly ignore the wisps and be safe from Aessina for a long while.
Trying to constantly flood your board with 1/1 whisps doesn’t seem intriguing at all. And an Undead Legendary? Why? In my opinion, not exciting at all.
