When attempting to challenge people on my friends list I am asked to wait until the friends list person is in the main menu. I have sent this to the North America CS that has screen shots
A patch was released today on PC/Mac, it is probably not available on all mobile platforms yet. See sticky post at the top of this forum (relevant section below).
