Task 12 Grommash not fixed

The bug on task 12 of Grommash seems not to be fixed… All the deathblows i did are not counted…

Edit: it’s not the deathblows that are counted but the runs. So, according to this task, I should end “75” runs to have this task… Are you kidding me???

Last Edit: quest doesn’t work on maps from lvl 15 of Tarides. It counts 1 deathblow for each run.

But when i try with first run (lvl 4) it counts more deathblows than i do.

Fix it.

Can you give provide some more details? Which mercenaries were in your party and what ability were used to get the deathblow?

It really doesn’t matter what mercs are in the party with Grommash.
The ability that is used is Blood Fervor.
The issue with the task is that is too big, too long to do it, compared to the other tasks of other mercs. Tasks similar to this one with other mercs are like 10-12 times to do the same thing and this one is like 75.
You have to go into a fight that contains 3 enemies and kill all 3 with Grommash using Blood Fervor (that is 3 rounds) but usually, you end up killing only 2 because one kills itself by attacking your mercs each round (few times even had to heal the 2nd one to keep it alive so I can kill it with Grommash).
So to compleate this task I will have to do Barrans level 10 map at least 12 times as I can get 5-10 kills per map. While doing other tasks takes time to do 1-2 maps or up to 6 for specific task that ask to compleat 6 maps.

2nd issue it doesn’t count in felwood level 23 but It does work in Barrens level10.

For 60 Grommash coins and 50 random coins, it too much time consuming it should be like 12 times to do it not 75, dev’s probably mixed number with tasks that say like “do X amount of damage doing this and that” as those tasks have numbers like 75 or more.

so i got this task today and was not making sense the progress and the action done.

After different trys , i created a party with only grommash , put it on board , skipped attack , i let enemys suicide vs grommash and got +3 in one fight.
If enemy use not direct attack damages ( like blue spell attacks ) something changes … im still testing if what matters is kill full hp enemy with one attack ( or let him suicide ) becouse killing a damaged unit seems to not give progress.

So what worked best for me was the barrens 1st level on normal , a party with only grommash , prefer an enemy fighter party , play passive ( no attack ) … if enemy casters party , passive 1st turn to let non caster suicide , than kill blue casters with 1st attack in 1 attack only.

edit2: yeah seems like the quest is deathblow = kill full hp enemy , not like normal mercenaries game deathblow = just kill an enemy.
So what happens is in normal bountys you always have other attacks go first becouse grommash is slow compared to others … and this will block task progression.
Plus when you get this task you are already playng on >20 lvl bountys , and there is like impossible to oneshot enemys.

I just completed. Go with only Grommash in bounty 1. Just kill them. It doesnt matter if they kill themselves. Every run is 9 deathblows. But it really is longer than the average tasks.

I have been having issues with grommash as well I hope the bug will be fixed before the next update

Still not fixed… I have no idea what sphagetti code they used to brake this task so bad. Some riot games lvl stuff
