See what the Burning Hells throw at you this year by looking at our 2025 Roadmap for Diablo Immortal.
Making the market cross-server doesn’t sound that bad actually.
The new class is DRUID, am I right…since you guys mentioned “rooted” in that blog, right?
The new crafting system is kinda intriguing here.
Wishful thinking mode…
- A way to upgrade set items into 3 affix / 3 magic
- A way to change the colour of sockets on rings
- A way to extract / apply set item “essences” like we do for legendaries
- Legendary ranks above 30 (I’ve been capped on these since January 2024)
- Helliquary levels above 70 (I’ve been capped on these for almost six months)
The concept of cross-server cluster marketplaces sounds good. However, I worry that this will make it even harder for players with alts to transfer platinum and gems to their mains. It seems likely that there will be more bots designed to snipe goods put up for low prices before the player can switch characters and purchase them with their mains.
Isn’t the “new crafting system” simply the Enchantment system that has already been released?
This was also my first thought, but the Enchantment System was introduced with the mid December update. So it would be a really cheap move by NetEase, to refer to that in the January to March part of the Roadmap.
Prob a bonus feature in their eyes as this can negatively effect the market as a whole.
That was among the least helpful game related videos I’ve ever seen.
Well, at least it tells you it is not “Enchant” feature that everyone believed it to be.
And with today’s release the crafting system seems like a dud. But at least we have the essence QoL updates.
