As I’m getting close to fully upgrade my primary gear, it becomes a huge struggle to have enough reinforced scrap materials. In the past it’s never been an issue. Probably I needed much less scraps for upgrading under lvl 20.
I usually get scraps from dungeons, verge, vanguard, bounties and accursed towers. I don’t really do open-world farming. Should I? It seems very time-consuming and boring.
Is there any tricks or best-practises to speed this farming up?
just kill things in high volume, open world can be best in a party but I like verge for solo plus nobody gets in your way and you get runes from it

Not really. It meant to be grinding, but you are already on the right track, spamming verge.
You can easily get like 60-100 white mats in every 3 minutes from clearing Verge solo.
So overworld farming only work wonder if you are in a party, Solo would be kinda slow.
Not really.
As you didn’t say what the ranks on your legendary gear currently are, it’s difficult to judge but it can take multiple months to get all eight of your legendaries up to Rank 30. There’s not really a shortcut to this. Scraps come from white / blue items. Dusts comes from yellow items. All three of these drop in pretty much linearly related to the amount of mobs you kill.
The paragon tree / nodes you have selected whilst farming can improve this somewhat.
In the Vanquisher paragon tree, there are these nodes…
- Treasure Find - 50% increased equipment drop rate from Elite monsters.
- Greed - Increases the bonuses granted by Treasure Find and Lucky from 50% to 75%.
Having those enabled will increase the amount of drops you get and thus the amount of materials you get.
Thanks you for the replies!
Yeah, I’ve already enabled those nodes from the Vanquisher but it’s still pretty time-consuming to get enough scraps.
My primary gear ranks: 4 items on lvl24, 4 items on lvl27
So I guess it will take some time
