we ALL know it will be busted. but, will it be OP busted, or just flat out…busted? i supposed it could be somewhere in the middle. OP, but with some skills/passives that are screwed up. fairly certain there are a few skills/passives in the original classes that are still bugged.
this isn’t to just bash the devs for (maybe) having a busted class on release. things happen. we get that. you cannot predict what will happen with the game when it’s in everyone’s hands.
BUT, i feel like they could have done an actual closed beta under NDA (no, flying streamers out to gush about it on camera isn’t a closed beta), it may have at least helped.
get those predictions in now! lol
My belief, is that it will be fairly balanced, Except for their Mythic weapon, that will actually make all SB builds pretty insane =o
Which is a great way to keep SB the flavor of the month, for just 1 season, or 2 max 
That Mythic glaive is an internal testing item, there’s no way that it’s actually one they plan to add to the live game with those attributes. The nearest comparable item is the Harlequin’s Crest with +4 to all skills, and that’s as a unique affix that isn’t upgraded by Masterworking. Making a new item that has the potential to give over +20 to all skills would be too dumb for even Blizz to be capable of on one of their worst days. I blame Rob and his naïve sense of credulity and desire for clickbaiting for that one.

Well, it would still be a very easy way, to give SB power on release, with the easy fix

It had better be viable at the very least. I’m going with SB and have 0 interest in creating an alt. Not a fan of the upcoming changes so a few weeks of s6 might be all I can stomach.
I’ll eat my shirt if it is, but it would be hilarious. 
Well, you’d still have to get 1 , not that its really that hard, with crafting
And then, you’d probably want one with a GA on that +10 all skills
Also keep in mind, its on a 2hander weapon, so +10 all skills is’nt too far off from a shako +4 , which would be +8 on a 2hander because they all get x2
So eh =)
Well, since they want to showcase the class and entice people to play it… I am going to assume that it will be OP for the launch/S6.
Then they will balance it for S7.

I’ve theorycrafted a few builds, and I gotta say, the synergies are through the roof.
I expect there to be plenty of S-Tier builds, with a few of those absolutely obliterating all content.
Eagle, Centipede and Jaguar are all insane, and Gorilla can buff any of those to provide insane defensive boosts. Thorns, poison, crit dmg, and vulnerable are all super easy to maintain/spam.
But we need that fun, and I hope Blizz gets that. Fingers crossed
After the ptr I think every class is going to be absolutely busted in half cause blizzard doesn’t have the guts to do what they need to do which is gut all of these insane multipliers that are all over the place

At this point, we’re getting 21+ digits damage numbers. The amount of multiplicative damage is insane. The amount of basic stat is insane. SB will not be an exception, but it will be even worse. Because apparently the D4 team is too poor to hire a testing team. They haven’t been able to fix Lucion for two months now. Don’t expect much from a whole new class, not just some items, lol…

I thought SB would be the most powerful class, but after seeing Sorc do trillion dmg in the live game, I have big doubts.
The truth bombs in this post are making me QQ already
IMO:
- Pit difficulty will be increased.
- Item drop rates will be increased in the live version.
- Tempering reset scroll drop rates will be equal or slightly lower than Dark Citadel content. World bosses may also drop Tempering reset scrolls.
- Paragon Board mechanics will change: It may be a limit of 6 boards (+1) or a complete change to a large board that increases in a circle. Glyph max level may be lowered (max lvl 80).
- Barb skills in Runewords will be nerfed and other class sharing skills will be buffed.
- Skill tree and Unique will be recalculated again.
All are just speculations contributing to the post and for fun purposes.
I predict I will have a wonderful week of forum drama to read and will have plenty of 
ready.
Every little thing will be complained about, even more people will be demanding a refund for something nobody that isn’t 100% sure they want should be preordering in this day and age.

Its the featured hero and sells expansion. If it isnt tier S or Tier SS they messed up.
