Your hired Mercenary is on standby

To anyone that ever groups in this game, isn’t it neat how it tells you that your merc is on standby every time you…zone into a dungeon, out of a dungeon, complete a quest, hit your town portal…etc?

My wife and I play together and we’re about to get a divorce because I read the message to her every time it pops up. Blizzard, save my marriage and fix this silly message spam :slight_smile:

I don’t ever group but does the new error message setting turn it off? Under gameplay, error notifications. It doesn’t save when you exit the game.

I dont group either and I’ve never seen it. This must be a group mechanic. They should tweak the trigger for the message to actually be ungrouped so as not to fire during zone transfers etc.
