They will still only hold a miniscule fraction of the Spiritborn’s power but everyone will be happy. Someone might say “That’s ridiculous, you can’t do tha…” Oh yeah? Ridiculous eh?

Maybe 250% for some classes and 300% for others.
They have to do something or wemight hit 300% SB playrate. Everyone with SB main and 2 SB alts.
Every class also needs an infinite evasion build now. I don’t know if I can go back to any other build after experiencing the efficiency of that.
More like 10000%, SB is doing trillions. Or they can cap SB’s multiliers and nerf monster hp a bit. SB would still be op sitting at 20 billion or so even if the damage is reduced to 1/100.
They probably never intended for ppl to go over pit 100, elites after 100ish does not even have affixes…

Nah no need. They will nerf spiritborn later. Just not during the season.
Better nerf things which are overperforming to keep some challenge in the game.
Honestly there are a few solutions. I would be happy with a last epoch inspired mid season reset (I know some players would flip out though but I really enjoy the first week race feel to seasons).
Also really want to see the rod of kepeleke effect available to other classes… specifically the barb for whirlwind… a mythic 2h Axe with lucky hit steel grasp and access to the core to basic with max resource = boom boom effect, would be great.
There are a few layers to the spirit born which is genuinely busted… the interaction of kepeleke, banish lords talisman and near 100% resource back, also the last minute changing to jaguar primary probably didn’t help… and of course barrier to damage conversion.
There is a need alright. They’ll make everyone mad if they nerf SB as much as they should the best solution is leave it alone and overbuff every other class but not to SB level because then everyone will be Superman and the season will be over in 2 weeks and 2.5 months will be wasted because Blizzard didn’t bother to playtest their new class at all. On purpose.
I disagree. They nerfed the other characters aswell. Ppl will get over it. If they keep buffing everything the game will be too easy. I prefer if they nerf SB down.
Oh prepare for the epic tears waterfall if they nerf SB. If they bring it down to the other classes level it will feel like walking into a nursery. Except it’s grown men balling their eyes out so it’s awkward.

Don´t understand topics like this. Everyone with few braincels know SB will be top dog of this seasson, they won´t nerf it in seasson and they will kill it at the end of the seasson.
Next seasson there will be few other broken builds and other will eat dust.

Why would they do more work before next seasson? No it will stay like this until new seasson. All you can hope for will be some minor buff for nonSb mid seasson, but probably not even that.
They have done mid-season adjustments. It’s all planned.
They need to do it before the mid season patch because most people leave before the mid season anyways
Players on console will not see that trillions in damage until blizzard address that console mem leak issue.
They need to fix this period. I can not believe they would let a build this powerful to go released without bringing it down to a decent level with the other builds or buffing thr builds to a similiar level.
Maybe there needs to be both as someone suggested that sb outscales t4, which would imply there needs to be both a nerf to spiritborn and a buff to other classes.
This will be a defining moment of d4 and probably forever referenced going forward as being a game breaking / deal breaking design decision as it was purposefully done.
People that like being corraled into a new fotm will be fine. Everyone else will just quit over time as they get fed up with it.
300% does nothing compare to SB, they are right now 70000 times. stronger than any other class. It is just insane
