You paid xx for this, but you ARE getting ROI

Folks that complains about this game, here’s a different take for you to consider.

You spend $15 on pizza and it’s gone in a day.
You spend $15 on a movie and it’s over in 3 hours.

You spend, let’s say $100, on this game, and how many hours have you spent on it. Even if you played only 10 hours (Which I pretty much guarantee that no one stopped at 10 hours when this game was released and then since then)- you paid $10 for entertaining you for 10 hours.
Play it 20 hours, you only paid $5 per hour.
Play it 40 hours at only 2.50 cents an hour.
How about 20 hours per character? 400-500 hours?
Then all those random seasons you played, how many hours?
Pennies.

YES, Diablo 4 STINKS when it came short of our expectations BUT for the money, we got our bang.

Let our complaints be better structured where the devs can really listen. Lessen our complaints about the cost, etc because the Return on Investment (ROI) is way better than you thought.

Last thought…
D3 still rules. D2-LOD was the master with the runes. D4 has a LONG way to go.

Yes but a movie is a finished product. If I had to pay $15 and then had to go do the editing before I could watch something enjoyable…I would be equally irritated. :hamster:

Definetely Agree

The rune system is not bad at all in D4

For those who have no idea what ROI means = Return On Investment

It’s more like, " Hey come taste these ingredients we haven’t cooked yet, for free. You like that? Just imagine what is in that box! Give us money and we will show you what’s in the box! Surprise, still not a pizza in the box, just random uncooked ingredients. we’ll fix it in seasons! "

The game is ok and they pulled service on the original D2 recently. Now I have to go find my discs again.
D3 was good, but it is hard to follow D2 and it did give a valiant effort.
D4 only sucks cause of how they keep balancing the game. It rotates what is the class to play and I personally prefer every class and every build being viable to get you through T3 at least and then cutting it down for being able to enter T4 to complete the open world stuff and then cut down for each time you do harder and harder stuff. I dont mind if only one build can do super high pits if every class has at least one that can do super high pits.
Instead it feels like they just pick a few builds to be good and the rest should change what they are doing and just follow the builds.

Actually to be fair the game was complete on launch. It was just a very boring bland pizza. Sure it had bugs, but every game does on launch. That wasn’t the issue.

Then they started to add toppings onto the pizza without realizing what makes a pizza good in the first place. They got some parts right, but they still struggle on others. Not to mention everyone wants different toppings on their pizza.

Wirt’s Leg Pizza versus Leah’s Pizzeria both served completely different pizzas. Each having their own regular customers. Now we have Lorath’s Left Over Pies that has no clue what pizza they want to serve and they keep changing the recipe.

All we need is a good cross promotion. Buy a Dairy Queen chili cheese dog and get a promo code for an in game chili cheese dog pet!

What? I said, “How about 20 hours per character? 400-500 hours?” Not 20 characters unless someone named Rod deleted his comment?

No it wasn’t . There were entire systems that did nothing. Resistances ring a bell? Do you believe the original design for upgrading your gear was 4 clicks and spend some mats? You think THAT was a complete system ? Come on man, do better.

Resists were a bug (which I mentioned), the game at its core was ‘complete’ in the sense it ran, had a very linear structure, and you could get to level 100 with little to no problems. It was extremely bland in its execution. Itemization was horrible, but it was ‘complete’ for all intents and purposes.

I think you’re confusing ‘complete’ with what you personally wanted out of the game.

Also you’re going to have to expand on this. Gear dropped, you could change it with enchanting for 1 out of 30-50+ affixes on any piece of gear. So I don’t know what you mean by 4 clicks and mats. The original game had no intentions of upgrading your gear like we have it now. It wasn’t even a thought in the beginning.

ROI is not a relevant term to describe what’s discussed here. Unless you use your account for RMT.

You’re not using your account for RMT are you. :face_with_monocle:

The game was complete.

It was only missing:

  • The armory
  • Leaderboards
  • Teleport to party members
  • Stash space
  • Zoom out camera
  • etc etc etc

But the game was complete as per these clowns hahaha, the things you have to read men, no wonder the game doesnt improve at all.

bahahahahaha >.< you don’t like some cockroach meat?

It was also missing a lot of key components to how damage functions in the game, like specifically resistances and armor. There were no resistances even though it showed them and armor was all you needed to protect yourself. There were a few damage outputs that either didnt work at all or were over outputting their damage.

THANKS, I was gonna get Dominoes tonight after work, NEVER MIND!
