D4 is not that bad, it has so many flaws but it is still fun now and then and has wonderful artwork. I still love Grim Dawn, Last Epoch, OG Titan Quest, D2 ( not the woke form), and am looking forward to so may great action rpgs.
D4, just needs to get its head out of its butt and look at what makes action rpgs great. Just my opinion. I still enjoy the game now and then.
alyways good to enjoy multiple arpgs really. For me they never were a game to marry, and play non stop. Currently im playing poe2. Once s9 comes out ill play d4 again, and the cycle continues

4k framegen dlss quality everything to full except rt reflections at one off max…
Wow, it really becomes something else the graphics are awe inspiring. It really needs 4k and full rt shadows i think to look unique… its too close to the rabble with less. The over 100 fps presentation is also nice.
EDIT: Also the magic number at least on my machine is 81% sharpening.
Never felt hate for D4. Renown, dungeon objectives, same generator/spender and all skills based on weapon damage are poor systems but overall still enjoying game more than D3 clunky set forced playstyles based on big cooldowns, difficulty mess and wrong graphics style.
The only way that you can enjoy it. If you are new to the game or play infrequently or mostly avoid the 99.99 % unrewarding grind then I’m sure D4 is fantasticish.
For those of us more on the die-hard side, I just wish they’d have more surprises happening to break up the tedium. Rarely see a goblin or even The Butcher anymore let alone an actual meaningful event.
You know the game is good when someone without brain says it’s “woke”.
Thereby lies the problem, many people think wrong things are making rpgs great and they “parrot” their wrong opinions (i.e. popularly accepted myths) over and over
I get that the final “cut” is done by the devs, but they should also be aware of consequences of listening to those
I’m thinking you may have to skip a few (maybe more) seasons to get your Thrill back. Other then that, you’ll (you) will either play this game and not enjoy it regardless of what it does, or you can just continue to hang on the forum…instead of doing something…else…
You can do this over and over again by restarting the campaign in eternal. This now progresses the battle pass… so we’ve won.
Literally everything to do with the word “seasons” is for mindless, pointless, throwaway repetitive grinding. You might get under a handful of permanent rewards, but the rest is so pointless and ephemeral its just generating activity metrics for microsoft.
It is run by ex used car salesmen that don’t play games. They are incapable of doing what makes ARPG’s great games. They won’t take the necessary risks and are focused on generating revenue rather than an engaging game.
With current leadership nothing will change.
