You didn't increase the mythic unique drop rate

People are doing hundreds of runs in rota groups and no one is getting any mythic uniques. Feels like the drop rate is back to pre-S4 levels.

Surely there’s an in between here. I don’t Mythics should be so common that you have them on day 1/2, but you should be rewarded for hundreds of runs.

There should definitely be at least 1 mythic unique drop in a 100x rota group. This is a massive step back compared to S5.

That’s good. I like it if that’s the case. I actually like the S1 rates.

I bet, if we get enough whining about the drop rates, Blizz will fix it soon enough.

Patch notes indicate that the drop rate would be adjusted which means decreased. As usual, when decreased there is never any information on the amount. Reading the complaints it seems a lot.

Doing Varshan on Eternal Realm with my season 5 Sorc (Torment III), I already had a Mythic dropping. It seems better than on S0-S2, at least for me.

How many hours of their life’s people need to sacrifice to a game to feel satisfaction?

I dont know if the drop rate is overkill but I actually agree that it should be nerfed. I dont think, having 3+ mythics in builds is great for build creativity and only 1-2 should be expected.

idk got 4 mythic already, i don’t know anyone “who is doing hundreds runs” and got 0 mythics.

I guess that depends. For me, I found the satisfaction after I finished the campaign which was pretty meh to me and started the endgame process. So probably that started around the 6th hour (rough estimate)

Funny comment, because after doing hundreds of runs the RNG was never good to me last season. I only got one mythic, while others I knew who rand less runs had practically a whole set. Good ole’ RNG.

Mythic unique drop rate is absolute garbage.

In S5 is was pretty solidly 10% on the highest difficulty.

In current game, T4 bosses, we did 30 runs with 4 people (15 Duriel/15 Andariel), and got a total of 2 mythics.

That’s 120 drop chances = 2 mythics/ubers.

Today we did 73 boss runs, 4 people, I finally got my FIRST mythic, and we only got 3 others total.

296 drop chances = 4 mythics

That drop rate is ABYSMAL.

They worry way too much about hard core players no-lifing it and getting mythics. Ignore that crap, Blizzard. That’s 0.001% of your population.

If you make it this hard for people to get them, you’ll be back to launch year’s dead game.

Become a streamer, let Blizz know so they can code your account properly for the huge drop rate.

This exact reason is why i don’t within the first 2 weeks of a season run any boss runs for those Mythics because they know everyone wants to get the gear first week. Thing of gambling progressive slots, you will never win in the early stages because its coded for a certain number of spins before payout.

Im ok with it, game was getting too simple. I consider myself somewhat casual (Dad gamer, full time job) but still got a dozen last season although most did come in garbage time at the end of the season. If they start handing out mythics d3 style then this game is done

Playing spiritborn is as OP as having a mythic unique in every slot.

Try it then instead of crying on the forums

" * Adjusted the drop rates of Mythic Unique items from Ladder Bosses to compensate for being guaranteed Ancestral quality."

Let me translate that into to English for you

“Nerfed the drop rate for Mythics into the dirt”

Go become a streamer, add your name to Blizzard list so they can put you into the server for the highest drop chance.

this explains me. I did over 400 boss runs now (currently still running) and haven’t seen one

mythics were far too common in s4 and s5. i like the new drop rates.

They should increase the drop rate because this game is a 2 week lifespan, per season. Why not.

It’s already 3/4 d3 anyway. Go all the way. 90% of the mythic are garbage anyway, let em’ rain.
