Correct, you are at the end of the seasonal reputation, it’ll count to 240K then reset, giving you a new cache at the rep board/thing. You may want to go back and check. I ignored it for a while and found I had 8 caches waiting for me.

What I’m telling you is that the reputation grind is done and you will forever see that quest until the end of the season. If you don’t want to see that go into your quest journal ( J is the hotkey by default on KB/M) and unselect it. The whole point of it is just to keep track of when you can get another cache from the Horadric Focus.
You won’t be be able to complete the quest ever, it’s strictly for tracking purposes.

168k is the final one for the spark cache. 240k is each extra one after that.
You’ve already completed the run
There’s a button on the right side of the bar that contains a number, if it’s infinite sign means you’re still grinding, if there’s a number means you’ve got a cache ready to add to inventory and maybe even “stacked up” some 
I had that up to 3 max
Did you try to get the cache (or one of multiples) ?, perhaps the quest requires to “withdraw” a one to register completion of your run

When you click it you’ll see that same “Horadric knowledge” bar with a button on the right
Heck, there’s a whole list of caches for each “chapter” of the seasonal quests, did you pick up ANY cache ?
Never completes for me. I still have it, and I’ve gotten numerous caches since I finished the last of the reputation for the last Spark chest. Recently went into the game just to verity and I saw 4 caches waiting for me, gathered those, quest still there keeping track of my rep for the next one.
That quest is just meant to keep you getting more of these.

It is meant to keep you progressing in the seasonal reward ranks like every other season…then once you are done it just becomes an infinite loop where if you look at my image…everytime I hit the next 240K I get a new cache…ooh I have one.

It completes and resets every 240,000 knowledge you gather after you’ve reached the end of the season renown. If you don’t want to see it in your quest list on screen, go to the map, expand the quest list and click on it once. It will drop off the quest list on the screen but still be in the list if you want to check it. Each time you reach 240,000 knowledge it will pop up in the onscreen list again to show you have a new cache ready and it has reset for the next one. Go collect your cache and click it off again. Rinse and repeat
