PoEā€™s buildcrafting is insanely deep and borderline requires a Masterā€™s to fully understand. No disagreement there.

Which is why 98% of the PoE playerbase just plays what Zizaran and co tells them to play.

So heā€™s not technically wrong, its pretty mindless to follow build guides.

If anyone remembers how POE was at launch and at how fast it progressed in to the spread arpg it is today the same system is in Diablo 4 even more so at launch than POE and I hope no true Diablo fan hopes for that.

Rating sites are never a good measure of a somethingā€™s worthā€¦ I mean rings of power is a 7/10 on IMDB, itā€™s a terrible show if you havenā€™t seen it. Ratings are easily manipulated and bombed both ways, positive and negative.

I mean I love diablo 4 specifically the gameplay which is the most important part, but there are some questionable design decisions that need to be addressed.

  1. No completed quest log.
  2. Search function in skill tree that you canā€™t even type in
  3. lack of social features for a game that they want to be an online world.

And those are the three i can think of off the top of my head right now. The game play is excellent, the game design is illogical.

The game is very similar to D3 especially the endgame which is basically a copy of it that is changed just enough to fool people into thinking it is different.

Agreed, there are a few other basic elements that should be integrated sooner than later. Gameplay wise the game is solid.

Yeah PoE would dunk on this gameā€™s numbers if it werenā€™t too difficult and complex for the masses. If D4 was named something else and released by a small studio there would be next to nobody playing it.

I actually donā€™t know what this is. Iā€™ve been playing video games my entire life. Guess if it mattered I would know. Also Iā€™ve said once already, much of the negative stuff is paid opposition who realize the potential of this game and are scared
