You are the minority. The amount of crying on here is hilarious

The 500 people who are pathetic enough to write user reviews on Metacritic have spoken. Guess the millions of the rest of us can go home now. They have decreed it so from their mother’s basement.

It’s really just a term that applies to people who think they are important enough to actually alter the trajectory of a game this big by leaving what is the equivalent of a Yelp review. As someone who works in the customer service industry, I ignore all of these things because you come to learn in my line of work that certain people are unhinged and looking for things to be pissed about.

I actually enjoy the game. Of course there are things I would like to see changed, but overall I am having a very positive experience.

I don’t understand all these ‘refund’ or blowing a gasket posts. They serve no purpose other then to rile up a small segment of the community.

In more ways than one it is somewhat of a D3 reskin. Well more like they took stuff from each game and then claimed “we’re going back to the roots” when they just copy/paste item names and monsters from previous games. D1 was the start, was an okay dungeon arpg. D2 was the best in its time, trading, playing with a lot of people, pvp/plving was easy, so many things to do, can create any build you want and it’ll be viable, none of this casual meta builds, you have crafted legendaries, rune words, charms/jewels, set items, there was a lot more to do in that game. Coming to D3 all hyped up, disappointed, they locked you down to 4 skills and 2 clickers, a lot of cool down mechanic they took from WoW. Eventually the game became okay maybe starting Season 24 which is like 9 years after game release, went back to S28 and got GR150 then that was it. Coming to D4 after playing all the betas I started to get hyped up again. Played through the campaign, story, leveled up to WT4, collected almost everything, can melt dungeons easily… then suddenly, not even 9 days after the game release… felt boring again. The game feels more like Diablo 3 than the other two, of course better than D3 release but slightly lower than S28… so yeah Diablo 3.5 seems more fitting IMO.

Everyones a tester and they will continue to make “balances” till season 1, the only ones left playing are casuals and streamer/content creators because its their job. To Blizzard if you’re having fun then its game breaking or an exploit and should be stopped.

You’re right, its not Diablo 3. It’s worse!

Do you honestly think there will be no RMT in D4?

Spoiler: There’s already RMT for D4.

Again you literally dont know what a “reskin” even means. It means a face lift in graphics with the same mechanics. This game has maybe 3 things in common with D3 while everything else is closer to D2 or completely new. Hence not a reskin.

People that just keep saying its a reskin literally have zero gaming experience and dont know what simple words mean.

If 99 percent of people enjoyed it there wouldn’t be this much criticism. We don’t want diablo 3 we want broken elements of diablo 4 fixed

People that say D4 is close to D2 than D3 probably have not played both games.

a bunch of poe and d3 people review bombed it because they actually have to fight monsters instead of playing a glorified cookie clicker

I never said it was CLOSER TO D2. I said it has some references there were clearly taking from D2. If you had played D2 at all you’d see some of those yourself.

I’ve been playing D2 since it game out buddy and still have the original box set of CDs… Literally on 2 D2R accounts right now farming.

The point being is idiots calling D4 a reskin of D3 are completely wrong. There are so many more mechanics that D3 doesnt even have. You can’t call it a reskin when it has things that are totally different… reskin refers to same game play mechanics with a visual uplift. Again not what D4 is.

If by fight monsters you mean spam your resource generator to then use your satisfying abilities for a second or 2 then go back to spamming your resource generator then ya sure we have to “fight” the monsters now.

*citation needed…

I have 1 generator and 1 spender and the rest don’t touch my resource at all. Learn how to make an actual build. I know you’re used to not thinking at all but this game demands a little more than the games you like. Either learn to play or play something else.

You’re going too far into an extreme. D3 wasn’t an amazing game. It was alright, and it kept the attention of millions for it’s run time, but so did D2.

There are some QoL adjustments to be added which were in D3.

Some are blatant and obvious like a follower of some kind, some level of adventure mode so you can fight some of the story bosses again (in a reliable way), or BASIC DAMN TUTORIALS ON NEW MECHANICS. Seriously Blizz, explain better how Nightmare Sigils work, Gems, etc. Hell, even an actual opt-in for PvP would be good, because the current method isn’t truly opt-in, and gates some cosmetics, statues, etc behind luck of the draw on the griefers being cuddled up to their waifu pillows.

Some of the less obvious things that aren’t just copied from D3 are stuff like player CC cooldown to prevent getting locked, a quest tracker, WB timers, separate gear for PvP vs PvE, more variety in dungeons to make them anywhere close to rewarding, just to name a few.

why should they stop, beta shows that it does work. they nerfed non viable builds because people said they were OP at level 25

the VAST majority of people will never bother to put a review on metacritic, you realise that right? 716 ratings…3 million players…do i need to say more?

You completely missed my point.

The “demand” is legit just spamming the generator until you have your resources and then use your actual damage ability for a few seconds before you go back to spamming the generator.

It is not rocket science to put together a build in this game. The builder/spender system is just garbage.

D3 is the same as D4. Was a solid base that just got wasted.

D4 is a great starting place but it needs some major reworks.

“-You’re the minority
-No you are
-No you
-No you”
And it goes on and on …
Nobody knows except Blizzard.
If you’re enjoying the game, say it.
If you have problems with the game, say it.
In the end Blizzard will decide and it’s not the “you’re the minority” topic that will carry weight in their decision.
