Unable to purchase any version of Diablo 4 on PS5. Originally pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition of the game, but ended up cancelling the pre-order. This was all back in March, so there is no issue with it all happening recently.

When now trying to buy the game through the PS Store on the console, app, or browser the following information is shown and I am unable to purchase it. Blizzard support said they can’t do anything about PS Store purchases, and PS Store support said they can’t do anything about Blizzard game licenses. Both support teams refer me to the other and appear to have no solution at this time. Hopefully, this will get resolved soon. At this point I’m content to purchase any version of the game just to be able to play it finally.

Same problem here and it seems there’s many others with the same problem. Like you, I’d be fine purchasing any version of the game. Out of all the posts I’ve found about this problem I haven’t seen a solution that worked for me. It must not be a problem for enough people for them to care to fix it or they’re not aware of how many are running into this.

Same here, I haven’t seen any solutions yet from any of the previous posts. Was really hoping to just keep bringing it up and maybe a fix will eventually be applied. PS Store support told me this directly this morning…

“We just received an announcement from Blizzard. We’ve been informed us that players who purchased one of Diablo IV Editions and request a refund, won’t be able to re-purchase. This is expected behavior due to the configuration of eligibility rules applied to the content.”

Exact same problem. PS Support blame Blizzard. Blizzard Support confirmed an known issue.

Blizzard suppot : I just saw this is a known issue we are trying to get fixed, no work around at the moment

I’ve got the same issue since May 5th. No solution yet.
Blizzard support said today that there’s no solution for this case yet.
