You add way too much stuff for nothing

Let me elaborate:

PVP: Abandoned
Worlds bosses: 3 and after 2 years not even a sign of new additions
Legion events: 0 changes since release
Local events: same ones since release only added mercenary ones.
Strongholds: few ones added in expansion
Side quests: 95% of them worthless and unrewarding.
Nightmare dungeons: rework incoming, because holy… that thing is boring af
Infernal Hordes: rework incoming, hopefully they will add fun stuff and remove the crap
Dark City: 0 updates since release
Undercity: 0 updates since release
Tree of whispers: you added the crow to redeem it everywhere last season and removed it. Why? only god knows
Helltides: Dammed Queen added and nothing else
The Pit: same thing over and over and over just adding 50 billions more health to enemies + damage. boooooooooring
Tormented bosses: The most updated thing in the game, but will you add malphas to the pool? also add better items to their pool.

You forgot the “GAUNTLET”. Yikes.

But Anyway… yeah, seems like your tired of the game or something. Don’t worry about it, just play something else.

Well that thing is not even in the game now, so I gave feedback on the things that are at hand

All of that would be much more tolerable if I didn’t feel like I am in the back of a school bus with some psycho driving down a rocky shallow riverbed bouncing the fug out of us with no seatbelt on while he is yelling yeee-haw and no end in sight. What the hell are these devs thinking?

Balancing and decisions have been pure chaos.

Minimal effort, minimal results. They don’t see it as a game.

All the effort was put into a new, more expensive BP and a joke collab.

All you can expect is more nothing to come.

I agree. Many activities not fun enough or rewarding enough. There is only a handful that I find fun or rewarding enough to do.

They should really improve some of the existing activities that players normally abandon.

Personally I think they have written themselves into a corner with it being Forced Multiplayer in an open world. There are only so many things you can do in the SAME WORLD season after season.

The joke of Different colored Helltides is there because what else will they do? Gotta put the stuff somewhere, and instancing everything goes against the Open World multiplayer design. They have tried on occasion but never return to it.

I suspect that they are stuck in the mud, trying to figure out what it is that it’s fractured player base wants. One group wants to one shot everything, one group wants it to be PoE, one group wants it to be Diablo 2, it’s impossible to please them all and when something they add doesn’t work, they try something else and the problem is none of it works because there doesn’t seem to be an overall vision for what D4 is anymore and it’s sad.

It’s become a mess and it absolutely needs someone to come in with a Vacuum cleaner and suck out all the useless, unneeded mechanics and tighten the experience up.

  1. Remove Herbs, Ore, and any other pointless materials. We Have too many currencies no one cares about
  2. Removing tempering as a system, put that power into a more engaging one. Can redo the Paragon boards to have interesting stats and not “+5 Str/Dex/Int/Will” all over.
  3. Let us level Glyphs outside of pits, I don’t care how. I don’t want to run pits it’s not super engaging
  4. Side quests are all just fluff and really pointless. This is a result of the MMO-Lite nature of the game and we really didn’t need them at all. I think each zone had a somewhat larger overarching side quest, those should be the only ones left in, they at least had a story with them.
  5. The power difference between Level 59 and level 60 is… frankly insane. The power curve needs to be more of a line than a near 90 degree angle. You go from dealing 1k-2k damage to dealing hundreds of thousands, and then millions in a matter of hours once you hit max level and it makes the leveling pretty much feel so pointless by comparison. Flatten that curve out! Leveling to 60 actually feels pretty nice until you realize at 60 it’s all just nothing by comparison. It’s no wonder people want to just get to 60 ASAP.
  6. Get rid of the timers and everything that limits us from playing the game we just want to play.
  7. The whole Nightmare dungeon thing needs a second pass. I honestly couldn’t tell you which dungeon is which, or why there are so gosh darn many of them other than “Look we have 50! We have a lot of stuff!” They all feel so similar to each other for the most part with only a few ones that stand out, and they often stand out because they are the worst ones in each zone.

There is a lot more but you get the idea.

The Events and endgame would already feel a bazillion Times better with real Balance.

Thereis No reason to ever Go Higher then 10000 dmg.

People played d2 a Lot and there you do what 1000 or 2000 dmg with incredible strong Equipment.

Powercreep IS so dumb and they dont get IT. IT ruined D3 and D4 now too.

Yeah it is sad to see the complete neglect when something is not reworked. Just little additions or changes each season would be enough to build trust within the player base.

Cant wait for seasons like Paragon Reborn, NMDs Reborn, Infernal Horde Reborn, Skill Tree Reborn…
