I play Necro and it just completely ruins the aesthetic of my character
The pet picking up stuff is nice but I don’t wanna run around with Fido while I melt flesh off bones, it kinda feels out of place
In fact the whole pet design this far feels out of place, it’s a very grim setting, why the random cutesy doggie as a pet? Why not a small treasure goblin or some type of demon/undead, etc.

No you may not. But you can dismiss your pet any time you want.

Actually, can understand the esthetic concerns. Having a cute animal running around following my druid makes sense, but would be a bit strange for a necromancer.
Maybe they need a zombie pet option. And other options thst feel class appropriate.
After the initial few runs where I was watching everything my cat was doing it kinda faded away and I didn’t even notice it was there.

Im sure goblins or undead creatures will be pets eventually. In the meantime just dismiss the pet.

I’d rather have a larger pickup radius than a pet. The WoWification of the Diablo series isn’t complete without a pet though I guess. Bring on the raids.
i suspect there will be daily soon, and maybe some sort of garrison so you can grow something in your tiny garden kek

Apparently the pet cat/dog is treated as a minion for necros, so boom goes the dynamite. Bonus damage inc.
Don’t worry about it. Soon you will be able to buy a cosmetic necro themed pet in the shop. Perhaps a skeleton dog or whatever the necros would use.
