Yen’s Blessing doesn't work with Marshall Glyph

Marshall Glyph states that whenever you cast a Shout a non-shout (i.e. Leap) loses 2 secs of Cooldown. This doesn’t work when you cast via Yen’s Blessing boots.

Steps:

  1. Leap
  2. Cast Rallying Cry (initial cast knocks down Leap cooldown)
  3. Double Swing to trigger Yen’s. Subsequent Shouts cast this way do nothing to cooldown

Perhaps that’s as intended since Rallying Cry is technically on cooldown when casting through Yen’s but that’s not what the Glyph says. It just states when a Shout is cast and Yen’s is definitely casting it

+1, can confirm this as well.

I built my whole current setup around it only to be immensely disappointed that it doesn’t actually work at all. Really lame, hopefully a bug that gets patched.

yea it seems like it doesnt trigger any other interactions that work on cast.
i use it on sorc and it doesnt proc my unstoppable on ice armor cast (snowveiled aspect), which in turn doesnt give me my mana/dmg increase from tibaults will

Having the same issue. When Yen’s blessing casts a shout, it does not reduce the CD of other non-shout skills as it should according to a Marshall glyph description.

Following Maxroll Bash Yen’sBlessing build.
Boots are 44%.
During a 27 minute Helltide, it cast “1” time when not in use.
It did not cast while the shout was ticking down.
Bash has 50% LHC. Leap 66%.

Is this a bug. Or, am I missing something?
Thanks.

Yen’s does affect the shouts with the Fierce Winds aspect to cast dust devils when Yen activates. So yeah, it is being inconsistent here and should also activate the Bold Chieftan aspect and the Marshal glyph.

Another interaction I know of with Druid, is that Yen’s doesn’t affect the Druid’s Fleshrender unique to activate when Yen’ activates a defensive skill. Although Druid in general is even more buggy, and defensive skills activated from Nature’s Fury will not affect Fleshrender either.
