My party voice chat audio when using the in-game voice channel comes out through the TV speakers instead of my headset. I have tried checking the audio settings on the Xbox itself and the mixer settings are set to headset only. When using Xbox chat outside the game it works as it should. In the game’s voice chat settings, I get no options to change the voice chat output device. I have tried restarting the game and even the console. Has anyone else encountered this issue and found a fix.
I have the opposite problem. We are playing coop on Xbox with a friend online who is using PlayStation. We only have one headset and the voice chat goes to the headset instead of the speakers, even though, in Xbox settings, we configured all party chat to go through speakers. It seems like Diablo has its own way of controlling the voice chat audio, but we can’t figure out how to get the cross platform voice chat to go through our speakers.
Im having the exact same issue on ps5. did you ever get it working properly?
I have not found a solution in game. We switched to using discord integration to use discord voice chat instead of the game’s chat.
