No special situation. Solo & group. 1-2 seconds freeze and then desktop.

Is your console well ventilated? Maybe check for dust in exhaust ports? If those are clean maybe re-install. I’ve put in a ton of hours on my Series X and haven’t had a single crash yet so could be hardware related or faulty installation.

Happens to me also, after approx 2 hours of gameplay the game just crashes back to the dashboard.
I’ve also had to disable VRR or else cutscenes and scene transitions blacked my screen.
Not had the best of times to be fair.
I am having crashing just like you and many others. It would be nice to get a response. I lose 3-5 ND sigils a day when the game freezes entering or TP to the dungeon.
Xbox series x here and this happends to me aswell, but just randomly throught the day. Atm the game is unplayable for me due too lag.
Series X has been 100% rock solid to lvl 54 , zero issues.
Same. I get the occasional game crash even though my Series X is well ventilated, has a supplementary, external fan, and I don’t even have to be in combat. Most times it happens in town when I’m going through inventory to salvage.
I am also experiencing both those issues you reported on the Xbox One
The crashes On XBOX Series X are significantly less ordered over the last 2-3 patches 
Had seldom freezes in the unpatched version (had to end d4 via xbox task bar).
But now it runs rock solid with smooth performance and no graphical glitches!
No issues for me. Never even lag issues. Game has crashed on me twice in 3 months since launch. I’d try to investigate your specific unit and troubleshoot. Don’t think its a game issue otherwise it would be widespread
I have the issue as well Internet is amazing so it’s definitely game and the series X I have a Series S and never have the black out screen or the hard crashes only on my series X and only on Diablo 4… so weird that it’s an X only thing.
I’ve had this issue on my X about 7x today. I’ll get lag and rubber-banding and I’ll be in a party and still have access to VC for a few seconds before I get kicked out of the game. Then the load screen acts wonky. I’ve restarted my system multiple times today, checked for updates, couldn’t find issues there. I was kind of wondering if it had to do with the special they’re doing with the extra XP, and the server having more activity than usual?
A hard reboot of the X tower will fix the wonky log in that freezes up from time to time …. Still blows my mind it’s an X not X and S series issue.
Crashed completely twice within a 1.5hr period. Complete crap to be honest and no other issues with the Xbox or internet, just this game. Wasn’t really an issue until the last update.
Whenever i get Xbox Issues i do the following:
1: Do a hard re-boot
2: Once powered down unplug everything from the Xbox
3: Power down the router and then unplug from the mains
4: Use some Compressed Air Spray and clean all dust from Xbox
5: Leave for 10mins to make sure all compressed air has fully dried
6: Power up your router and wait 5-10mins for the router to be fully up and running
7: Plug everything back into your Xbox and power it up
This normally fixes all problems.

Hello, I have a brand new Xbox series x and D4 kicks we to the dashboard without warning, no freezing or anything. I have restarted the Xbox restarted the router un-installed the software re-installed the software and the system is well ventilated. D4 worked better on my original Xbox one. What do I do?
Same issue here. Doesn’t happen super often but often enough to be annoying. Maybe every few hours. For me, its only been this season. It was fine before that.
Ain’t had any crashes, sounds like maybe something to do with the resolution between the t.v and xbox…do you’s own a OLED t.v?
I own a LG G3 and have zero problems.
It’s problem with your XB. I have series X and have never dashboarded in D4. Not once since launch. I get dashboarded all the time playing Ark Survival, so it’s not like dashboarding doesn’t happen. Just never in D4.
