Xbox series X issues persist

Consistent crashing after anywhere from 1-4 hours of gameplay. Cross platform is off and we play couch coop with a hardlined gb fiber internet connection. Partners character will freeze or be force booted, or the game itself will freeze. This has happened 90% of the time we log on in addition to portal & partition stuttering, map navigation locking out input, etc. Either freezes the game or crashes to home, the always online platform is failing miserably for us.

Has been happening to me playing Solo since launch… Disconnect occurs every few minutes. Game is literally unplayable. Haven’t even tried multiplayer… I’m believable that the game was released in the State. I requested a refund, but because they State that I’ve played the game. More than two hours my refund is an eligible. Funny thing is, is, those hours were spent disconnected… Go figure. Probably won’t reinstall Diablo 4 For many months, because A first party game with this money issues E.G. BF 2042, REDFALL etc… The majority of these bugs, glitches and other various issues will not be fixed until then if ever. So tired of this. I’ve spent thousands of dollars on consoles games accessories etc. As have many others, and this is what we get in return…

There’s memory leak as a whole on all platforms causing crashes. PC threads on it are useful. The system will crash/freeze 1 to 4 hours due to overheating. You can tell just by touching on top. Fail safe will trigger once the system becomes hot enough by shutting off. This only happens with this game and I had notice it during second beta.

It is no fualt of own since it is the game. I have Xbox Series X

Same same for since pre-release. None of this during beta’s. No response from Blizzard on Twitter or this forum and the multiple topics posted about it.

Good Evening Blizzard,

I love you’re games, have been playing WoW and the like since 2003.

Having spent the best part of my disposable income for this month on the game I was excited as today it arrived (20th June 23). It has been long awaited and I fully support good content jn games like this.

However

After my very 1st hour of gameplay, I have been booted off the game, with error code 395002 ‘locked account’.

I have then spent 30 minutes trying to reconnect… to find out all my progress is lost.

Very very disappointed and frustrated as I have spent so much money on this game, and it can’t even perform the basic function of saving my progress… I am now concerned reading and seeing all these posts…

Ask yourself the question - would you buy a game that can’t keep your hard-earned minutes / hours of gameplay?

The time I have spent is valuable to me - so how will you reimburse this?

It is one thing to be booted out, and then reconnected - but still with your progress in game…

But to be booted out, THEN manage to reconnect and find that not only 30 minutes of time was lost, but also to find your progress in game needs to be redone… sorry but it’s hugely frustrating to sit through an entire dungeon again… knowing that it was on account of malfunction of the game / comnection or otherwise something out of my control.

Please suggest how I move forward - I would really like to continue playing however this sort of issue is just not good… not for the money I have spent, and not for my precious time spent trying to play and re-play my progress.

Very unhappy, I was really looking forward to this!

Kind Regards

Liam.

Same here, when I play the game my Xbox series x it sounds like a damn airplane about to take off. I’m assuming it’s the fan running on overdrive. My Xbox doesn’t have issues with any other high end games. After hours of play, the Xbox hard crashes due to overheating.

My Xbox is kept in a well ventilated place and again, never has issues with other games. This is clearly a Diablo 4 issue and it seriously needs to be resolved or Blizzard will be responsible for bricking consoles due to repetitive overheat.

Interestingly, when I pull open the map in game, I can hear the fan noise decrease and then the second I am back in game as my character, the fan goes back into hyper mode.

Hello-

My series x has the same exact symptoms. Fan is always on high. This wasn’t like this, when I first got the game. I felt like after the first update this issue started. So if I look at the world map , my fan calms down. Eventually, the console will shut down or the game will exit to the Xbox dash, with the overheating message.

This is the only game doing this…I opened up my box and is clean as a whistle.
Let me know if you have tried anything, that works.

I’ve reinstalled, reset to factory, soft reset with no help.
