I bought the Xbox Series X version pre-release of D4 Vessel of Hatred Ultimate Edition via the in game store inside of D4 Season of Hatred Rising. I played D4 Vessel of Hatred for the first month, and reached level 265 on SB character. I uninstalled D4 Vessel of Hatred after I finished Pit 150 and needed space on my Xbox to load another game.
I attempted to Re-install Vessel of Hatred Ultimate Edition last night and the Xbox store says I don’t own the game. So I loaded D4 Season of Hatred Rising and my 265 level SQ is in my character list, yet greyed out and it says I need D4 Vessel of Hatred purchase to play.
This is where it gets even weirder. When I go to the Blizzard in-game company store, it has Vessel of Hatred “Green check” marked (on all three versions of VOH) and won’t let me buy it as it knows I already bought the Ultimate Edition, and there is a grey caution note at the bottom that I need to “access mount and pet” to unlock???
And when I go to the Xbox Series X company store, it shows I don’t own any version of D4 Vessel of Hatred.
What I think happened is my Ultimate Edition license is corrupted. When the game released on launch day, I had to re-buy the season pass in game as my Ultimate Edition did not give me the battle pass for free, as advertised. I also had constant “Vessel of Hatred” disconnects while playing the game for the first few days after launch, where I had to log out of the game, and log back in to access the Vessel of Hatred section of the map, etc as the license would just corrupt ever now and then for no apparent reason.
Basically I got caught up in the Ultimate Edition glitch that got patched later for Xbox, and for some reason now I can’t reload D4 Vessel of Hatred Ultimate Edition, and I can’t even buy it in the in game store as it shows purchased already, yet the Xbox console Microsoft store will allow me to purchase it again as it shows I never bought it…
