Hey, peeps. I’m using an xbox series x/s controller on my PC connected via wireless adapter, because I prefer this interface. That said, when I played a few weeks ago, my controller worked fine. Now when I try to play, the “A” button is not only trying to “interact” as it is assigned by default, but it’s also consistently opening the chat box at the same time. My game is updated & the controller drivers are the latest available. I’ve seen people having issues w/ the PS5 controller for various reasons, so I was curious if anyone else has an issue like I have or similar for the xbox series x/s controller, not the Elite or whatever w/ the new triggers.
Edit: I’ve tested my Xbox controller on PC in DMC5 & WoWS & it works flawlessly there, so I know it’s not a controller issue. D4 keeps trying to use both my keyboard hotkeys & the controller simultaneously. The most common issue is the game is trying to “interact” & open the chat window at the same time or just sending my cursor to the top of the menu list or swapping between keyboard/Mouse & controller commands. I’m at a loss currently & know it’s just something is going on w/ D4, just don’t know what.
