I bought a backbone off eBay that came w no directions. I threw it on my iPhone and downloaded the software, but after that I can only see the tabs of backbone and the controllers. I have zero idea how to run Diablo 4 during server slam
Can anyone dummy this down for me and go step by step?
Server slam has been finished for a while already
Yep. I tried using during the server slam but couldn’t figure it out
Would like to know how before launch
I have no idea what backbone is so I don’t know
Its a phone attachment with controller type attachments on each side of the phone. Makes your phone kinda look like a Nintendo switch.
Wouldn’t that only work on Immortal? D4 isn’t on mobile.
They want to use the Xbox cloud feature
Cloud gaming… though playing on such a small screen must suck.
Yep. Want to use it for when I’m not at home and have free time to kill
I have the Razer Kishi and it works similar to backbone. I e only played with games on cloud gaming though and have yet to try the Xbox play anywhere feature through the app.
What I have done though is streamed to my phone to play a few games when I’m on the same connection at home and it seemed to work well.
I can’t help you beyond that however.
Editing: I was able to get this to work with my Razer Kishi.
Step one download Xbox app.
Step two setup and connect your console to your app.
Step three after setup click the console icon on upper right corner. (Can click there to setup your console initially also)
Step four choose remote play on this device.
That should work. Now if you are on the same network it helps, but your games will definitely lag on almost any mobile network or public wifi. It will also likely lag if you use an office or workplace network because you are all sharing bandwidth and people the d to stream a lot of music in places where they allow you to use their network for personal things.

I appreciate the response! That is the best and most detailed answer I’ve gotten. I should be able to follow that and try it upon release
Thank you!
I would test it first with before release to see how well connectivity will be in the places you will be playing remotely. Especially games that need to be online as those will lag much harder than others. That has been my experience when playing MMO’s remotely. I can’t do any heavy combat related content remotely, but I can do do simple quests.
