This build focuses on multiplying dust devils to the max via incessant shouting.

In a sense, the player is spamming all keybinds repeatedly somewhat like playing a piano, meanwhile your barb is “singing” with his shouts. Idk, it’s kind of funny to me…a funny interesting build that actually works in T8 Hordes.
I decided NOT to focus on bleed damage at all, but still utilize Gushing Wounds. The reason for that is the bleed tick rates were 50mil on low end and 100mil on the high end, equaling to more than the damage of a high crit DD from WW.
Whereas a Ramaladni/Grandfather setup with Fists of Fate might yield DD crits of around 200mil SOMETIMES (with slayer passive + 300% roll on the hit damage), this build can get much more consistent damage on targets plus respectable crit damage.
Rama/GF + FoF is also bugged, requiring you to gear swap EVERY time you enter a new instance to do big damage; otherwise, you will hit like a teddy bear. This means you could not push very far into The Pit with Rama/GF/FoF.
Nevertheless, because this build doesn’t use Rama/GF, the HIT damage numbers are going to be lower on average, but the DD generation will be higher and bleed damage will somewhat equalize damage output especially with frequent ruptures that can hit from 200mil up to 500mil every time.
Another benefit to this setup is that it is a MUCH easier build to assemble. Tempering & Masterworking, in particular, for the Rama/GF build is somewhat of a nightmare, in my opinion. My build is much easier to put together.
I will say that even though the Rama/GF build might be a little stronger, I’ve managed to create a build that can handle T8 hordes very easily.
The council, because those bastards don’t stay clumped together all the time, requires approximately 3 minutes to kill. Still, that is quite a respectable kill time for the build, in my opinion.
Here are other notes
Breakpoints:
- Damage while Berserking, 300%
- Crit hit chance, 100%
- Crit damage, as high as possible
- You can opt to not use Rakanoth’s if your lucky hit chance is high enough and you have a perfectly rolled Harrograth. If using legendary boots, I highly recommend using Grasping Whirlwind aspect.
- This is a bleed build that uses Rupture to proc 10% damage from the Decimate legendary paragon and deal burst damage more frequently. This might feel like one of the clunkiest builds you’ll ever play, but it works.
- You have to play smart and try not to constantly face tank EVERYTHING or you’ll die since this build isn’t running Iron Skin. But if you want, you can swap Rupture for Iron Skin for a marginal DPS loss.
PLAYSTYLE
-
Spam all CDs incessantly, except for Rupture. Rupture every 5 seconds for optimal buff uptime.
-
This triggers legendary paragon Decimate’s damage bonus of 10% damage when you overpower a vulnerable enemy; conveniently, this buff lasts 5 seconds, and Rupture’s attack speed buff lasts 5 seconds as well.
-
Make sure you aim well with your mouse or you’ll miss Rupture.
-
Alternatively, you can swap Rupture for any other ability you prefer.
The amulet recommended in the build is what I consider optimal, but I don’t own an amulet like that. My current one is GA cooldown, non-GA crit, and non-GA counteroffensive. With the optimal amulet, the damage would be decently higher, especially with GA passives.
